this is one of the most wonderful quilts I have seen - most b&w I see are more modern patterns - using b&w with a tradtional pattern/block - that is just gorgeous! Thanks for posting!

No the block is your choice as long as it's prewashed fabric, 12 1/2 inch unfinished block and black and white fabric (prints or solids). Have fun!!

Oh I would really like to play too. This looks like so much fun! I've never done a swap before and everyone was so nice to tslowery, helping her out that I think I could do this.

Love the pic of the quilt in the show. Thats what made me join...I think that sampler type blocks will turn out to be gorgeous!
