Oh klue, too funny. These blocks are great and I would be very proud to have them in my quilt. I posted pic of my blocks in the Recent Topics under pictures. Still learning how to do all of this. Can't wait to get blocks done and in and back.

Thank you everyone. Had to redo block as my arthritis is flaring up and could not do the applique handwork.

This will be my next quilt to piece with fabric I picked out a few years ago. When finished, it will have a second block which really pulls it together and and sets it off. It has nice wide borders, too. I want to do another pattern is this book with flannels. Bring on the cold! :roll:

Hey Coletta I sent my blocks yesterday. Yikes it cost me $14.00 to send them but will cost $4.95 to send them back to me. crazy huh? I am so excited to get the blocks in the mail!

Woohoo my blocks are finaly on their way. First day I forgot to add in a block I took out to show my quilt buddy/teacher. Second day I forgot colletta's addy. Today I gave the whole kitten cabbodle to hubby and asked him to go to PO. I have three classes today and wanted the blocks on their way. Hope they make it :lol: :roll:

All the blocks you've been showing are soooo pretty! I can't wait until I can make blocks well enough to participate. Maybe in 2010. How's that for a New Year's resolution?

If you can sew a straight line you can make a block. Go to quilter cache and find the pattern for Arrowhead Puzzle. Very easy pattern.
All you need is yellow and blue fabric. What do you say?

I was thinking it was the 15th for some reason.

I finally finished my first set of blocks yesterday, and now I'm rushing like mad to get a second set finished before the mailing deadline. The second set will be a variation on "Antique Tile" using the fabrics that Kyia, Colette, and Joyce so kindly sent me after I had a fabric disaster with the yellow fabric I bought for this swap.

Thanks for the encouraging words ladies. I'm going to practice on a few things around here but I'll get in on an exchange soon. What do I have to loose? You all make great blocks and I'll end up with lots of nice ones and you will all only end up with one of my so-so ones!

Will these be okay to use? I see yellow and blue first on the daisy print, but it does have white and green in it, also.

bearisgray - of course your fabric is ok to use. Love the daisy fabric. It will fit right in. Would love to receive one of yours. Go ahead and make them up.
