I'm the same way with the health issues and getting them done. Pinched sciatic nerve plus the MS is not so wonderful when you have a hard time getting up and down the stairs to your quilting basement. I never know from one day to the next, so when I can it's a get it done day. I mailed mine today. Again the blocks I have seen are beautiful and appreciate it so much. Looking forward to getting them back and putting a quilt together.

All the new blocks are so pretty. This is so much fun. I put together Buslady's block last night wasn't real impressed with my self. Everything lined up so nice and then I went to measure it and it was 14.5". Looked at wrong directions. Took it all apart but then had to make templates for all the pieces to cut the correct size. Guess I had so much fun doing it the first time I needed to do it a second time. Terri

Joanlizbay we are supposed to finish the quilts? Would love to see some finished booms. I have the ice packs out tonight. This cold weather really sets off all the little aches and pains. My plan is to finish off all the blocks next weekend after we return from Cozumel and mail them on the first. Terri

Love the block Abbysmom! Love all the blocks. I feel for ya all! Can't tell you how many times I have finished and been just a smidge off on size!! It really sucks when it turns out 12.25. How DO you add that little bit? EEEEKKKKK!!!!
I will finish up my sisters comfort quilt tonight, will spend the weekend saying goodbye to daughter and grands as they are moving to AZ on Monday. Then, if I can see through the swollen eyes, I will concentrate on the last of my blocks!! Of course, I usually sew something every night before I go to bed, so I might get a little done then. I am just loving this whole process. I, too, have a couple of blocks that I am less than thrilled with. If I have time at the end I will re-do them and send 2. and YES, you are supposed to finish the quilts, but you couldn't prove that by me! LOL I have 3 or 4 of them in various stages of completion. None finished, YET. It is my goal to work on all my UFO's between starting anything new. Notice I said "between"? Cause I just started a new project with church group. Pc of fabric I was saving for another stack and wack. HeHeHe. I guess that counts as a UFO!?

I did that with NanaKathy's block, it was 13.5" but I couldn't just trim it to size or the points would have been cut off so I had to completely make her a new block. I call things like this bumps in the road. A bump here and there is OK as long as they are spread out and not cause to many ripples. LOL
