But I had a twin sized that I machine quilted myself & I said let's let the batiks rest for a bit. And now I've sent batiks to the Opal group. I'm into border prints right now, I have 4 pieces waiting on me. But I couldn't resist a second boom, I had so much fun in my first.

You are right, they feel thinner and 'harder'. I think they have a higher thread count, to withstand all the extensive processing they go through getting beautiful. I think you might love them again once you get your blocks back! They are looking pretty good. :o

Oh my, just listen to that purple batik SING!

oh, Terri, that is so unique & beautiful. Looks like you really fussy cut it wonderfully. (She's swooning as her red hat quilt grows more beautiful each day!) And I do have more here if anyone needs extra.

Thanks! Yep, I'm a night owl. DH works 12-hour night shifts, so I match his hours. Makes it somewhat easier if we're on the same schedule, although I wish he didn't have to pull 12-hour shifts.

Here's QuilterMomma's block ... Arrowhead Puzzle from Quilter's Cache. :)

Moonrise, we always started work early so we were both early birds. At the lake I keep pretty close to that same schedule as not much to do out there at night. Now at home that has turned into a different story. For some reason can't go go to sleep here if I go to bed b4 1 -1:30. Drives hubby crazy
