Love this block, will have to give it a try with some old fabric

It is a Jinnie Beyer block. Scant 1/4" seams. Just came out exactly 12 1/2", no room for error. But I like the four highlight squares & the pinwheels together.

yes this is the pattern but I only used one of the contrasting color. Radio Windmill.

Hello ladies another beautiful block GrammE I made radio windmill last boom for someone and it just about did me in. I don't know if it's me or Jinny but I have a tough time with her blocks and the templates.

Yeah, they could at least tell you how to cut the shapes, which direction I mean. If your fabric doesn't have a wrong side you are ok but if it does I still haven't figured out what the proper layout is. I had to cut 3 extras for the last block. And that wiggly point thing, it there a problem squaring it off? But they do come out the right size when finally are finished! Scant 1/4 though!
