GramE thank you so much the block is beautiful. So glad Sewbiz had extra fabric for you. Can't wait to see it in person

Joanliz very pretty block who is for?

joanelizbay 08-17-2017 02:43 PM

Sewbiz..I should have ironed it but Im exhausted tonight and am thinking about going to bed at 6 pm... This getting up early to get 3 7th graders and a 4 year old off to school then work all day is sapping my energy. Its only 2 days a week but its hard to get use to doing it.

Joan, I love the yellow block! It's beautiful. Thank you!

I spent today making my favorite 12" blocks out of Christmas fabrics. These are for donation quilts at Christmas time-- for people stuck in the hospital over Christmas. I should have been doing other things I've been putting off, but you all know the 'pull' of the blocks... you know. :p

I'm watching the new episode of Project Runway then I'll probably work some on Molly's pink block.

Libster, sitting in a chair, feet up, hummingbird feeder right in eyesight, needle in hand isn't exactly a taxing task. Time, I got time to sit there. But thank you, I do enjoy the process, and the fact that I can be productive & lazy at the same time ;).

here's another one for today, a record for me, two in one day. But I had a long nap in between.

Amazing what you see when you take the picture. I need some spray starch and another go at that ironing thing.

Sounds like a plan to me! I just wish I could even dream of doing what you can do. You and Kass have a special talent for hand work. My hat's off to you both.
