What a cute idea!

Funny story, GramE... and I'm glad your daughter is doing well. Is she still hospitalized?

GramE, that is too funny. It sounds like something I would do. :D
Glad to hear that your daughter is doing better.

"Is she still hospitalized?"

No but we must stay in the Cleveland area, 300 miles from home, until the remove the drainage tubes & she has an x-ray.

I'm looking for a fabric store.

Just a quick update for Summer. I've begun receiving completed blocks. Woo hoo! I haven't opened them yet but I hope to by this weekend. It looks like many of you have completed Summer or have almost finished. I've got PMs and/or emails out to others who haven't posted blocks at all or recently, except for LJDugas who generally doesn't post pix of the blocks she makes. Besides, a couple of days ago she posted she had finished Summer so all is good there. Anyway, barring any complications, Summer is in good shape. :)

Oh GramE sounds exactly like something that would happen to me, how funny

Glad Natalie is feeling better

I am going to be sewing, sewing, sewing this weekend. Very thankful it is a 3 day weekend. Get my blocks completed and be in the mail. I have them all planned out... just need to sit still and piece them together.

That sounds like a fun kind of weekend!

We are watching TS Harvey. Didn't think it would reach us but it looks like it will. :( By midnight tonight it is supposed to slam Lake Charles, LA, the area where my husband's family is. Then it's coming up here by Thursday, and on to Memphis Friday, where all our kids live. Lots of worry! And it's the 12th anniversary of Katrina, our last nightmare storm.

It's already been gloomy and rainy here for two days (we are in Mississippi) but today the wind started picking up too. You can tell something's coming.

I hope your entire family is safe Sew...its horrible watching Texas going thru what they are. Luckly we wont get any rain out of Harvey up here in Missouri..worry about my brother on the west coast of Florida...He said they got 10" of rain this week and its not even from Harvey! Prayers and hugs!!

Sewbiz Harvey is raising so much havoc, will you and your families have to evacuate?
