Terriamn, I think grief is like waves. Sometimes one laps at your feet but the next can knock you down. I hope the grief support group helps you. Enjoy your time with your family. :)

Thanks Janice, the grief session was a one time shot on how to get through the holidays. I think I will be ok, just need to remember to be prepared for those pesky big waves
|
Terriamn, I hope there will be some joy along with the grief you are experiencing this holiday season.
I am glad you had a chance to go the workshop. |
Hang in there, Terri. One day at the time. It is doable.
Lucky me- I have pneumonia for Turkey Day. Oldest daughter is doing all the cooking for me. Happy Turkey Day, Everybody! Be safe and stay warm. |
Get better, Libster!
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! We have so much to be thankful for! |
Libster get better quickly.
Happy Thanksgiving to all |
Had trouble posting yesterday...
Libster, so sorry to hear about your illness! Pneumonia is miserable. Make sure you rest, rest, rest! Hugs (the non-germy kind) for you. Klaws, have a wonderful family Thanksgiving! PamelaOry, I get overwhelmed by extra of people in my home, too. I’ve always subscribed to the theory that fish and guests stink after 3 days, sooner if there are lots of them. I always prefer quiet holidays but every once in a while, a big party or event can be fun as long as as I’m not in charge. Too much stress. Darcyshannon, enjoy your T day with your friends. :) Re:Jaba, I believe I saw that she posted the other day on another thread. Hopefully she’s feeling much better. Happy Thanksgiving to all, however you choose to celebrate it. And if you don’t celebrate it, hope tomorrow is just a pleasant day for you. |
Since all the boys have families now, my husband and I made a movie date. We are seeing 4 movies (Bohemian Rhapsody, Widows, Creed 2, and Robin Hood) at the theater with recliners and dinner. Works for us this year.

Sounds heavenly! I’ll be thinking of you with envy tomorrow! ;)

That brings back memories Pamela of when my son was younger. He and I would go to a couple of movies on Thanksgiving after dinner!! It was a tradition till he got older! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!
