Pamela, great candy block. Love that you found a pattern you liked which was an 8” block, and adjusted to our 12” size. Way to go!!

SBG, Both your blocks are great. Love the pattern and bright colors for Cheesehead and the pink pop of Color is perfect for Mona’s black and white block.

Joan, beautiful browns for Kass’s swirling block.

Love that Halloween candy block, Pamela! Peanut butter taffy... yum! That's going to be a real cute addition to her quilt.

Well today I thought I'd make Klaw's block, since she was the only one left in Dunes w/o a block (I think) I thought of the concept a week or so ago when I saw a quilt made entirely of these "candy wrapper" type shapes and drew up a pattern for a 12 inch block (great minds think alike Pamela). This block was not cooperative but I prevailed in what seemed like a dual to the death!!! lol lol lol (I might be being a bit mellow dramatic but I ran out of wine, so............. mellow dramatic it is!!!! )

(The 8th day of Christmas is snickering santa's right???)

Thank you SBG for my Origami Star block, it's perfect! Some day I will have to cave and buy those rulers, I love seeing what everyone does with them.

I made this one this morning for DarcyShannon. I'm calling it Trick or Treat Spider. You did say she loved spiders. I had the perfect background for one, so I made the spider from your white/black print. I hope she likes it. Tell her this is her kitchen spider and they're supposed to be good luck.

Kassaundra 06-29-2018 06:20 AM

I LOVE this spider, the print you made it out of makes it look like a "native" as in native American spider.

Hi Terriamn. At the very bottom of each post on the right side (at least on my devices) is a little icon that looks like quotation marks and a plus sign.

Go thru the posts and when you find one you want to quote, hit that little icon. Go to the next one and do the same. When you’ve got all you want to quote, move to the “+Reply to thread” button you usually isecto reply, click it, and they’ll all pop up in a single reply. Then you can address each comment. I’m using it more frequently so I don’t have to make individual posts, one after another and I can delete out pix that have already been posted so I don’t clog the thread more than we do normally. And FYI, it seems you can post from multiple pages. Let me know how it works for you.
