So many beautiful blocks! Terriamn, that mosaic block is just perfect for that fabric.

Kass, I’m so glad to hear your uncles quilt was found! Thanks for sharing his response. It’s so heartwarming to share in “quilt love”.

GramE what are the name of your blocks, both blocks really caught my eye

The musical one is called the Dandy Quilt. From the 1930’s it said. The other is waltzing Matilda.

Thanks GramE guess it’s your printed background that threw me off, didn’t recognize the block. I love Waltzing Matilda, it’s a great block.

Waltzing Matilda is Inklingo. And a variation with the one inside triangle, divided into two triangles.
i just liked the movement/swirl of the droplets and thought it made a great center focus.

Kass, you put so much love, time and effort into the wolf quilt, and your uncle could tell! It was so heartwarming that he received it as he did! I'm so glad it wasn't lost. You must have been going out of your mind worrying where it was. What a happy ending!

I'm sad that you had such a rough childhood. You apparently thrived, nonetheless. Your uncle's kindness to you as a child was priceless.

Everyone else... great blocks! I love seeing the new ones pop up every day. This swap is so much fun.

Thanks, it's okay. I wouldn't want to do it again (childhood) but it did make me the person I am today. My Gma was a lifeline and when I was about 14 I went to live w/ her. She and being introduced to my creator both made a big difference in my life for the good.

GramE, love the block you made for me, thank you! I don't recall the name of the block pattern you used but it looks really difficult to me.

It is Waltzing Matilda. It’s from Inklingo. A site that I purchase computer patterns that print the cutting & sewing lines onto the fabric. Then all you have to to is follow the dotted line. Glad you liked it.
