Beautiful place you camped, Moonrise. That coyote pup is adorable. Looks like a curious little guy.

Ibex must have a theory about left handedness and creativity....

I'm so excited because tonight I finished quilting my On Ringo Lake quilt! Squee... been quilting on it for so long. Now I just need to bind it and then I'll take some pics.

Congrats Sewbiz!!!!!!

I am mostly right handed. There are some things I do left handed, and I can write lt handed but write much better w/ my right hand.

I use a 45 fiskars

Yes Congratulations on finishing your quilt can’t wait to see it.

I’m also Right handed and use the Olfa 45. When I had carpal tunnel I used the ergo Martelli quite a bit but never felt comfortable with it. But I cut different because of the years with carpal tunnel. I lay my fabric out and cut across the top of the fabric using my right hand with my left forearm resting on the ruler. Looks scary as heck, I have been trying to get out of the habit.

Forgot to answer the question above. I'm right-handed, and use a 45mm blade with a Fiskars cutter. I have a straight-handled Olfa cutter, but I'm always worried that my hand will slip down and hit the blade.

Heavens to Betsy! Doesn't sound safe at all... remember how many times I have cut off my fingertips (3)? Those cutters really are dangerous. I am trying to get in the habit of closing the blade guard when I lay the cutter down. Sometimes just moving piles of stuff around on the table I will bump into it and nick my fingers.

Beautiful Dresden, moonrise! I love that fabric but I'm stumped by it so far.

Here is one block I did today... it's for Ibex and is called "A Dandy".

Oooh! Pretty Dandy block!

Here's annt59's second block (I got 2 of her F8s). It's called Amish Diamond, from Quilter's Cache. Another one of my favorites. :)

Moonrise, thank you for the two blocks that you made for me. I like them both. Nice and bright.

For Libster. :) I used burgundy thread to sew the Dresden down. Not sure if it shows up in the photo.
