I used Angleplay templates. It was one of the blocks in the book that comes with the templates. If you can find the book separately, it contains paper patterns you can print, instead of using the templates. The blocks in the book are really cool!

And here's one for you, Annt59! It's an Amish Star, but in your case a Christmas star! I wish the contrast was better, but it will help if you quilt it as a star... STID or something around the star. Hope you like it.

Boomers, just have to tell you all how much I’ve enjoyed all the blocks you’ve been posting. You all are making beautiful blocks and seem to be putting a lot of effort into them in the various stages from fabric choices, to design and then to construction. Thank you all for your efforts. :). I got a couple of blocks finished this morning. First is for Sewbizgirl. It's Another Christmas Star.
Second one is for Terriamn. Terri, I figured this fabric has to be going to a girl, so I added some pink polka dots. It reminds me of the Dick and Jane reading books that I learned to read from.
