I got 2 finished tonight. Have about 6 more blocks picked out but not color matched yet or cut. Hopefully tomorrow. These are both for Libster. I love your fabric!

I dont know about the rest of the country but Missouri is cooking!! Days of above 100 heat index, no rain...Good reasons to stay in and make blocks! :) Have a great weekend!

OK is baking too, no rain, extreme heat, has been hotter then normal for over a month now.

Same here in NC. No rain and extreme heat index. Humidity is just unreal. Miserable outside. The heat just sucks the air out of your lungs. We haven't had any rain here for over a month now. Corn is a total loss. Can't even use it for silage, not enough moisture in it. If we don't get rain soon, the soy beans will be gone too. Our mountains on the other hand, has been flash flooding. But even they're hot too. Strange summer here!

We havent had any rain either and the crops are in dire need. Hopefully it will rain today..a 40% chance but its a chance.. Hate to see my gas bill at the end of this summer! 4th hottest July in history for this area. Got 2 blocks done for Annt59 and I made an extra for IBEX, just because it was "patriotic" and thats my all time favorite kind of quilt. Had some of her stripe left..the gold block has the constitution written on it..Tell him THANK YOU for his service and Welcome Home!!

Those are pretty blocks, Joan. I love it that you put the Constitution on Ibex's block.
