I like this a lot! Stars and burgundy...what's not to like!? Can't wait to see this one finished.
Just thinking out loud....I think I'd frame the four corner blocks on the out side edges only to make them fit and add a wide border to enclose the four diagonal block points. I'm about as clear as mud, right?? LOL |

Three more done, I think this will be the last of the blocks until I get back from vacation. If everything goes as planned we will fly to Vermont tomorrow and be gone until Thursday.

Making slow and steady progress with very little time to work on this one. I have to remake just one block tomorrow and then I’m ready to start measuring and cutting the borders. There are partial seams and mitered corners to deal with. It’ll continue to be slow and steady for me.

Seems as though life is filled everyday with recovery, life saving, happy and sad moments. When one ends another begins...guess that's what life is all about.
For me I want to thank you all for your prayers and positive thoughts. They seem to be working. After the exam no tumor is present! Check up in 2 weeks and if it is still gone then a scope or scan a month later. If that goes well, Florida here I come!!! Now just to heal again from radiation burns, ugh! All in all, good news for me after 5 long months. Need to work on getting some strength back. |
