That sounds pretty! I need loads of practice before my feathers will look good, if ever...

My feathers aren't perfect either but I still like them because it was a design I always liked and was very unsure I could do them because I thought they were too hard. I was so happy that I was able do it that I want to try again.

That sounds beautiful, QueenB! I love the look of quilted feathers. I did them once on a border. They turned out okay and I want to try them again, too. I look forward to seeing yours!

Hello there, Sooners. Now that the blocks for Later have shipped, I’m going to take a few days off and then start working on a plan for the Joanelizbay blocks I received from you. I have one larger one and I am trying to decide if I want to quilt it or have one of the many women I know with long arms quilt it. Hmmm.

Yesterday, I went to a sewing party at a friend’s house and made a retreat bag. Once i get photos, I will post but probably not until next week.
