Got my baggies in the mail as well, leaving tomorrow for the last week of vacay, Kruger national park here we come ;-) ladies my blocks might need a good starch. They are pretty smushed. I always worry about distortion and being exact but I know they are nice ones this time. Hugs all!

Two more packages are due from usps this evening. They’re running very late but hopefully will be here soon.

Ernie’s vet appointment was today but right at the beginning, the doc was called away to an emergency so we had to reschedule. Ernie is up in weight a bit but there’s so much more to discuss. Oh, well, an emergency takes precedence. His skin is already improving though and fur is growing in. He’s getting more handsome! He’s the world’s best sleeper, too.

Reba, had to watch the Christmas episode with the napkin. What a gem! (Yes, I have them on DVD.). I know the blocks get smushed in most envelopes but they do press out so no worries.

Am planning our Thanksgiving. My son is flying in from KS, ostensibly to enjoy the holiday with us, but he’s anxious to meet Ernie, too. (He loves dogs and has been touting small dogs for months. He’s got two Pomeranians.) A friend will be joining us along with the Asheville family. Maybe some others will join us as well. Trying to get a count so we can plan properly. Do any of you have any big plans?

Well, no mail yet. Guessing it’s delayed until tomorrow. This happens occasionally since Helene. Road construction everywhere.

Have a pleasant evening.

Reba, I love that BBT block with the napkin, the episode is priceless. We would love to see the finished quilt, it will be priceless too.

Janice we will be going to Thanksgiving dinner at the park we use to live in as a guest of my sister’s significant other. The park is supplying the turkey, potatoes and gravey. The rest will be a pot luck. Since we don’t live there we will be paying a small fee, which is great by us. We so enjoy the great caring company and clean up is a breeze.

We’re getting close. Blocks are arriving almost daily. Thank you, Lstew and NZQ. Your packages arrived late last night.

So happy to see my blocks made it ok. Reba, that napkin block is a stroke of genius!

Our Thanksgiving is always with the kids/grandkids in Memphis, but this year we have been disinvited, due to my daughter's TDS. (Trump Derangement Syndrome). She's blowing up Thanksgiving (and probably Christmas, too) because our family voted different ways in the election. So stupid. We have always abided by the unspoken rule not to discuss politics at holidays. We are hurt.

SBG, I’m sorry to hear your family is currently split. I’ll hope for a swift and full reconciliation during the coming holiday months.

Terriamn, sounds like a fun Thanksgiving, getting to spend it with a lot of friends. Nice!

Just aback from a lunch with my women’s group. Had a pleasant time though there were enough of us in a small space to make the noise level almost unbearable. I guess we all talk too much, or just too loudly.

my bf and I are of different faiths and both of us are faithful to our faiths. He is a wise person and often says that hatred and violence comes from having to be right, and force your beliefs on others. I find that is especially true with politics, don’t be a red worshipper or blue fanatic to the point of intolerance, it’s so sad. I hope you can find peace on Turkey day. Hugs. You can never get enough hugs.

SBG, that is heartbreaking! I know how much you love your grandbabies! Politics should never divide a family up. (((Hugs!))) We aren't going anywhere this Thanksgiving, or hosting this year. Want to come join us for Thanksgiving? We can all be thankful for our election results together!

Janice, I'm so happy my blocks arrived safely!
