I'm feeling soooo neglected - I've only received one block since September! :) The start of another Boom seems like a long way off.

Well darn! I didn't want to complain, but I, too, am missing FOUR blocks.....so far, I do not have blocks from OK Darla, Pink Lady, clsure (I think) or Sharon B. I'm still hopeful about the first two, but not too sure I will ever hear from the third....Has anyone heard from her? And, I hate to say this, but I'm not sure I have one from clsure? I have two that I mistakenly have not labeled. But I'm not stressing. I haven'e received anymore since mid-October. If I get more, I'll be happy....If not, I'll make some filler blocks......still, this is disappointing.

Of course, I will accept any corrections.....:)

all my blocks are done and mailed.

I believe folks have until the first of January 2013 to get them out to each other. So it seems like they have another 19 days to get them where they need to go.

With that being said no one should be complaining until January 2, 2013 if they have not received there blocks.

I can't speak for others here but personally I take offense in the idea that some of you feel slighted because you have not received your blocks back yet. Each participant has until January 1, 2013 to get it out to each other.

Personally I have been posting here on my status and that my blocks are all ready to go in the mail. The last update I gave which I believe was last week stating I had three to finish and than I would mail them all out together.

I also resent the implication that some of you feel I will not follow through just because you have not had the opportunity to deal with me before. Not to make you look or feel stupid, but I assure you I always follow through with my swaps on this board and I have also included extra fabric back with your blocks in your envelopes.

Like I stated before my blocks are or were near complete and now are and they are going in the mail tomorrow afternoon or the latest Saturday morning.

It is very rude to state in a public forum that you believe some of us are not going to follow through when you have no reason to think so since the swap has not ended yet.

I have done other swaps here on this board in the past and no one can say I don't or won't follow through.

Think before you post. How would you feel if someone made such statements about you before the deadline arrived for these swaps accusing them of not following through or that you think they won't. You have nothing to base it on or have ever had a bad experience with someone like me before.

If I were not going to complete something I commit to I would not join swaps like this.

This is my fifth swap on this board in the last year and with statements like this I do not believe I will be joining any more of them based on the comments of some of you here........ pointing an accusing finger without justification.

It was fun for me to have joined this swap and really going outside the box so to speak but now all the joy and fun in it is gone from it.

Of the 15 blocks I have received 12 so far, and still missing 3, however you do not see me posting here complaining that I have not yet received those 3 other blocks. Why? Because I can't, the date for the swap has not passed yet and truthfully even if I did not get those last three blocks on time I would PM the persons on January 2, 2013 and wish them a happy new year and see how they were doing. ANYWAY two of the three missing for me have already told me they will be late and that is ok. Life happens sometimes and it can't be helped.

I hope y'all enjoy the blocks I have made for all of you. I am a new sewer/quilter however I have done my very best with what I have made.

Sorry, clsurz, did not mean to offend. I have participated in swaps where I did not get a third of my blocks back. Life happens, tragedies, family emergencies. You are right that the deadline is not here yet and you have been great about communicating.
