Recieved F8 from Nurse Bonnie

I just realized we had till September to do all of these. Not that I'll wait that long, since I love these blocks. But some may not do much over the summer, so I'm not going to worry about F8's not received. :D

Received first grown up block today - from joanelizbay. It's really nice - love it! Block is called "Twist". Love that she fussy cut Old Saint Nick into the center of each block. I am really looking forward to my final project.

Completed block going home in Thursday mail for Nurse Bonnie.

Yes he did, and I am glad. That is who I was hoping would win. I have a nephew from South Carolina that hopes to play for the Steelers someday (He is a freshman - but playing varsity football and does a wonderful job) I just pray for no injuries.

Got F8 from Nurse Bonnie. I also thought it was a Christmas theme! Love that press and seal wrap, never seen it in colors before! The green fabric was beautiful!

Good afternoon to all! Received another grown up block today from goldendog55. Very pretty! Loving the way everyone is going with my fabric. Should go together to make a great quilt!

Just an apology up front.....My husband got me a new Husqvarna with embroidery machine and I am just learning where the 1/4 inch sewing line is. There were some that I had sewn up, measured, and then had to take apart and resew. :oops: If the sewing lines are not ok with you, please send me some more fabric and I will make you another block. I will also reimburse you the postage. I would have just used my old reliable but it is in the shop being serviced and repaired. :( Thanks for all of the beautiful blocks!!

The turtles look great - and i LOVE the alphabet fabric you used with it!

I love seeing the finished blocks. Thanks for sharing. They're all beautiful and it's fun to see the variety of interpretations of each fabric.

I don't really care for the press and seal wrap, although it works well, it actually does too good of a job if you ask me. I can't ever seem to get the fabric out of it without cutting it out and I am always afraid I will cut the fabric. Maybe I am just not doing it right.

I always end up ripping it! =D

Got a really pretty finished block from Ladyilene today. Thank you! Good job on the embrodery!!

I am glad you like it... they all 3 go together nicely! My block pattern is named "None Such", and I found it somewhere on the internet. I wish I understood the name... I'll bet there is an original story out there somewhere.

Thanks for the name of the block. I like the pattern a lot and hadn't seen this one before. Love how you placed the colors. My incoming blocks all compliment one another very well.
