Hi All,

This is my late catch up weekend. I still have not received blocks from: dconroy84, quiltingran. I owe brenda21 and deltadawn. Here are the block I received since Thanksgiving (OK, I had extended long stay from relatives that I love and the last set left this past Thurday) so now I have my sewing time back. Enjoy, also my signature contains all the block I received since the beginning!

I sent a PM to dconroy84 today I was a little worried about her as she has not reported in since mid December. Hopefully she is in good health and will be able to catch us up on the status of the Swap.

I have my spring quilt finished and am making pillow shams out of the remaining blocks. I have posted pictures of my spring quilt in my quilts album. Along with a few other quilts I have finished the past few weeks.

Just wondering if I'm the only one, but i'm still missing a few blocks. Did everyone else got all thier blocks? Just wondering!

Hi Oma7, nope I still 2 missing from this group, even more from the Summer group.

I'm missing 2 blocks. Apparently, one has sent everyone's blocks just recently, and the other has not been heard from since December.

I was late getting my f8's out to everyone but I mailed all finished blocks back the week of Christmas...I still haven't gotten back about half of mine.

All the blocks look so pretty!!

Count me in! I love bock of the month, it will keep me on track to make a sampler. But I have a question??? Do we make the block for our self, and just show pictures of the blocks or do we exchange them?

We will be making the blocks of the month for ourselves and sharing experience and photos together on quiltingboard.

Hello Everyone,
Well I am healed from the surgery and it has made an AMAZING difference for me. I wish it had worked this way the first time around. I have minimal numbness in my left leg (which will more than likely be permanent but this is better than numb from my lower back to my knees right? :D) I have only had two bad days as far as migraines go and the fluid is draining correctly now-yippeee!!
So is it time for me to start the next Boom now?

April, so glad to hear you are better. It must be a relief to have things working better for you. Thanks for hosting this swap. I have enjoyed it immensely. It has been a challenge to come up with blocks, and fun to share block with everyone in the swap.

You can definitely count me in for another Boom! This has been so fun.

Yup I can sew again! I have to finish getting through my totes. Hubby and I tried to before my surgery but just couldn't. We packed everything up before Hurricane Irene just in case there was water and there was so we were so happy no fabric or quilting items were lost.
I will be starting the signup threads either this evening or tomorrow for 7.
Thank you all again for the well wishes, the prayers and continued support. You are ALL Amazing friends.

I received block from Qulitn Gran today, so beautiful. Posting picture in my album.

We are working on a Star Wars Quilt! Took me forever to gather enough fabric for it! Today was a rainy yucky day, so glad to be inside sewing looking out at the rain! We really need it so that is super!

Has anyone heard from dconroy84 lately? Her block is th only one I have not received, and I am wondering if she is alright.

Editted: I checked on her posts, and it appears she has been active on the board up through Feb 3. I wonder what has happened.

Quilt Mom, I sent her a pm and she said she is running behind but will send blocks home soon~ I am so glad that I received all of my blocks in both groups except the one from donroy84, but hopefully she will have time to get them out soon. What a great time this has been, how exciting and the quilts will be awesome. I have my Spring quilt almost finished, needs binding then I will post a picture. I am making pillow shams out of the blocks I received late.

Still waiting on 5 blocks but the ones that I have received are awesome...will make a great Christmas lap quilt and will have plenty of time to put it together before then!
