I've got another Possum story for all of you ... you know how much I like those stinking varmits.

Neighbor and I were tearing down an old large (12x12) shed in the back. We worked all morning, knocked out all the slatted siding, removed windows and door, pushed until the whole frame and roof went down, tore up roof into burnable pieces, salvaged some of the 2x4 lumber - burned remainder ... all that remained was the flooring. The shed sat on concrete footing which was raised by joists then floored over. We were trying to remove the plywood from the joists by using a 2x4 as a pry and lifting the plywood up and smacking the joist down with a sledge hammer. My neighbor had the job of lifting, I had the job of smacking the joist with the sledge. We were half way through and he inserted the 2x4 under the flooring and felt it "give" ... other the other end came a POSSUM!! He must have poked it in the butt with the 2x4!!

Well ... I went running after said Possum with my sledge hammer raised in the air and screaming a war cry!! Chased him into the neighbors yard ... NOT the neighbor I like ... the other one :) Let HIM deal with the Possum!! Although if I know him, he's probably got several recipe's for it. Blech.

So ... I can scratch "Chase Possum with sledge hammer" off my bucket list :)

I'd have to get the Possum back and that's just not going to happen

Finished ANOTHER block today ... I'm on a roll.

You can peek if you want to - it's in my Album.

This one is for Elisabrat. She wanted girly ... you don't get more girly than this one. I even added eyelet cause you were putting it on your quilt. Hope you like it.

Seriously ... normally I am not a fan of this block, but I'm in LOVE with this one! I think it's my favorite block I made for this group so far.

Edited to add: Elisabrat - the block is well oversized. I left it that way so you can choose how to center it.
