What I'm thinking is that I will ask for solids or tone-on-tone prints that match the bright blues, green and yellows in the butterflies; and only whites or off-whites for the green print. Would it be too much to put into the note to make "snowflakes" out of white on the green fabric? A dozen different snowflakes would make a really cool quilt. Just wondering if that would be too much to ask. I am thinking that any star-like pattern would make a "snow flake". |
April, My prayers are with you. My uncle is currently in a nursing home dying from Lou Gehrigg's Disease also. The VA is taking responsibility for his illness. He served two tours in Vietnam. I try to go south and see him every month or so it is so hard to see him progressingly get worse each time. My mother and father go see him weekly but they only live 45 min away. It is such a horrible illness. He was diagnosed almost 18 months ago and we feel very lucky that he is still with us. I cried for your pain. I am sure she is no longer in pain and her family will see her again in heaven. My uncle has six kids and 7 grandkids. Hugs and loves to your family.

Husband's Aunt passed away last night. Just a little under two months ago they had diagnosed her with Lou Gehrigg's Disease and said she had probably two years...she didn't even make it two months :( So bear with me folks I will get the groups done just not sure which day. Hugs April |
hi there, quilt mommy, if i get your fabric i will gladly make u a snowflake, jsut enclose it in the envelope and i will do my very best, as i will do with all of them, sounds very pretty to me, and i jsut really love your butterfly fabric, oh woudl go so well with my hubbingbirds i am making a quitl our of, i want to get a few embroidered, robert make me onw so pretty, and i have soem fabric i will use i will try and do a trade again for somethign with someone that has an embroidery machine and will do a humming bird with a flower for me, i love them so,

Swap is OFFICIALLY CLOSED Now. I will ask a moderator to adjust the title for me. In the mean time we ended up with one large group and four small groups. This is what I have. If my records are wrong please let me know. In the small groups if you have a number next to your name that is how many small groups you are in. If there is no number next to your name than you are in only one small group of 16 people :) If you see someone on a list who still owes you blocks please please let me know.
