One of my sets is a hand applique set, and I'm thinking about a sawtooth star for my second set... I know it's a simple pattern, but I know I can make it well! Will that work?

I love it! I am also making a heart block but much diffrent from yours!

Thank you all for the positive feed back.. I really appreciate your enthusiasm about the block.. I wanted to put something together that everyone would like.. Because I am so new at quilting, I didn't want to fall short for such an important swap.. and I know most of you are so very talented, and practiced.. your work is just beautiful.. If I can get some other commitments caught up I definitley want in on this one. My grandmother is a breast cancer angel.. And is the one who got me sewing/quilting when I was a kid. So I can't think of a better tribute

I will be working on my blocks next week. Finishing up 3 UFOs right now and not going to have any more UFOs again, I hate having things pile up. Now I just need to decide what blocks to do...I can't wait to see what everyone else comes up with, THANK YOU so much for joining!!!

Got my fabric. It is washed and started cutting already. Will start sewing maybe this week. We will see. I have been quilting a lot lately and not piecing so much. Working on those UFO's!

Finally decided on a block, got the material. Now just need to wash the material, embroider the design, cut and piece...what date are the first 6 due to be mailed???lol
