Blocks to be mailed by July 1st.

We will be making a calendar SBS, with each participant being assigned one month. Sue should reflect that particular month. For example, Jan may have snow or snow flakes, Feb would be reds or hearts, etc. If you have a particular month that you would like to do, please note that to me pm. I will keep track so all of the months are represented as equally as possible. The number of blocks to be made by each participant will depend on the number of participants. For example: 12 participants, each person will be assigned a month to make 12 blocks. March 1st will show all participants and the month assigned (requested). Posted block swap rules will apply as indicated by Admin. All blocks to be mailed to me by July 1st, and will be sent out in July.

Will it matter how the applique is done?

Glad to have you along! I am going to use mine as an actual calendar - know the ones that have the picture in the top frame and the month below it? I have a friend who will make the frame for me.

Count me in too!! This is my first swap...should be easy enough that I won't screw it up. One question, can we embellish with buttons/beads, etc.? As for the month..it doesn't matter to me.

I would say anything that will stand up to washing as some may actually be using this as a small quilt, though if some want a wall hanging or to use it as a calendar as I plan on, lots of embellishments would be fine. We can do the fine tuning when I get the entire participant list. Thanks for joining in this swap!
