My block will be Castle in the Air - Can we make more than 12 of the same block or does each 12 have to be a different block style?

Boy did I mess up, this is my block, had pattern right in front of me??? I went to the quilt shop and brought these fabric's for this block and look what I did??? I all ready have 6 made, bummer!!!!

i'm with colletta on this one. it looks good to me, just make the others the same way and no one will know - its looks like its supposed to be that way

Ok....glad the others said they didn't see the problem because I dont either. What's wrong with it? Make them all the same and they will be perfect for the swap.

Ditto here. What's wrong with it? The color looks like purple & black, but otherwise looks fine.

The rasberry in the center should be the light pink?? I'll do half & half, I love the one pictured, so I'll take one of them.

I can't see any mistake. As for colors, it's just personal choice, so any difference there can't be "wrong". I love this block. It's from quilters cache??? Which one?

On Page 4 buddy's mom posted a pic of her block. The darker roseish color is what I would call "raspberry" but any variation of it is what we are shooting for.

I'm going to do a Spring Bloom applique.

I bought my fabric yesterday at an area quilt shop- I got three yards at $10 a yard. Definitely a splurge, but I fell in love with three coordinating prints. I hope you all love them as much as I do! I am hoping I bought enough to do another set of 12, but I have to finish my first 12 first I suppose... Lol!

Funny, I did the same thing, when I walked in to the shop told her I needed a nice chocolate fabric and rasberry to go, she had the perfect fabric's, I just love them.

:D 8) :D Chocolate Raspberry Truffles.......Oh Yes......so sweet.....decadent....melt in your mouth.....rolling eyes......savoring......savoring.....savoring..... .gone :(

I have enough to share, for a little bit anyway! I went to Costco and their truffles come in a 4lb :shock: box for $10!!!! :shock: :mrgreen: :shock: :mrgreen:

So of course I had to buy a box and I have the perfect wine to go with them! So if anyone wants to make a road trip to MN, I will dig the bed out from under my stash and have them waiting for you!

I'll let you know when my flight gets in.
