They are ornys that my best quilty sis friend teaches how to make at my lqs every Autumn.
I've made them the last couple of years, and they seem to be liked by most people.
Not my talent, the ornys..lol

I also was curious about other folded fabric ornaments, so I tried my old "Google image search".
I actually found a book that has several of them. Of course it's an older book, but I found several copies of it for sale on Amazon, very cheap!
I got mine last week, but haven't tried any of the other folded ornys yet.

I've been collecting Santas since the mid-late '80s. I adore Santa ornaments! All the ornaments I've seen on this post are wonderful! I would be sooooo happy to receive any of them (even happier to receive all of them -- LOL)!

Dec. 6 is good for me! I may be late getting on board because I will be returning home from a cruse that day.

Just sitting here thawing out from the game, cold here and looking at some patterns for ornaments. I had a pattern picked for a second orn but thinking about changing my mind.

Thanks, they are super excited and I'll admit so are us parents. Cant stop thinking about all of their faces when the won. We have known almost every single one of those kids since early childhood and they have been playing football together since they were in 1st and 2nd grade. Thats 6 years total. The tears of pride were flowing tonight.

Oh, oh, oh, I found another pattern that I love love love. It is something very different, just need to see if I have all the stuff to do it. After all I am challenging myself to use only things from my stash. I think I may be able to pull this one off if I can find one thing I havent seen in a while.

nearly finished stitching second ornament and thinking it would look better on Aida cloth rather than plain white cotton cloth. Not that there is anything wrong with it--more of a personal preference thing. Do I want to start over? but it would be a lot smaller---hmmmm?

Well, just got back a little while ago from Dr. office. Middle child has strep. Just in time for Halloween, Senior Night, and for all the other to catch it. Oh well, at least it is simple to treat.

Now, while I was at the pharmacy waiting to get his meds, I did a little looking around for my SS. I found some of the cutest things. Just waiting for DH to get his next check to go get them.

Still working on questions for reindeer games and prizes. Also hoping to work on second ornaments sometime soon along with SS package. I really need things to slow down and get some long restful nights of sleep to get this stuff done.

Looking forward to walking our oldest across the field tomorrow night for Senior night. Getting the tissues ready. Just hoping the snow holds off till the game is over. Its going to be cold, cold. Time for the long Jons.
