Lynnie bet they're cute. I wanna see them. OK?

I need to figure out a way to ship the gingerbread houses.
anyone have a suggestion. they are about 3 1/4" to 4" done. I'm looking for a cheap way + one that will not crush them besides getting a hugh box to mail them in. I may have to join the ornament swap next year. |
will see if Jeanne can take a photo of them.
|
Hi Lynnie, what about a small priority box. Not flat rate, but regular priority. They make a fairly small box and I bet it would be fairly reasonable to mail.
|
I am thinking that if you made a cardboard square sleeve for the house to fit into they will still fit in a flat rate priority padded envelope, Lynnie. If you buy it on line at the post office it would be five dollars and seventy cents, would be insured and have a confirmation number.

Love those padded envelopes, you can ship almost anything in them. I use them for work order them online and they deliver them to me.
|
the padded envelope won't do. maybe the small box.
saw the gingerbread houses on etsy from $20 to $38.20 a weird price. they do take 2 sheets of ultra heavy solvy ($30 a roll) and a lot of thread over 60,000 stitches. but they are beautiful! |
I looked them up by your description Lynnie. I really thought they were darling. I sent my cousin a 200.00 leather purse in one a couple days ago.
|
dedemac, do you order them from the PO. I tried once and couldn't get them. where do you get them from?
|
I am not dedemac, but, yes you go online and place an order for them. They deliver them to you within a couple weeks. You can also get them sometimes right at the post office. Or they can order some there.
