Good to see you MizMelly! This is a really fun swap -- not too much pressure and lots of merrymaking.

How many ornaments do people send? One? Two? half a dozen?

Here is the main rule of swapping in the ornament swap, gals. You must send one nice handmade ornament and a card to let her know who you are on the board. But, I was just pm talking to a friend of mine and we were saying that in the past swaps there have been people who sometimes send two, sometimes candy and perhaps a little something else. I think that it depends on the swapper. There are always the ladies who want to do a little extra, and that is okay too. But, just to be straight on the rules, one ornament and a card. That makes it festive and fun and most decidedly an affordable swap. Everyone can just relax and enjoy some holiday interaction. So as I see on those little cute signs lately...

Stay Calm
and
Swap on!

Love it! Searching for inspiration now. Next week I'll select some fabrics to post a teaser photo.

OMG girls! I have been hours on Google Image search looking at handmade christmas ornaments. I just kept changing the type I wanted to see. Like santa hats, santa boots, mittens, snowmen, herbs and spices, angels, snowflakes, beaded, felted and hand embroidered. I just had to stop! My head was beginning to hurt. LOL!

I need to do some more surfing myself when I get home from work tonight! So many cute ideas on Pinterest!
