No I haven't seen a swap thread for it yet lynnie. Last year Brenda21 was the hostess.

Lynnie, I've been watching the board for the sign up too. I just finished my lace stars & bell wreaths for the swap & Secret Santa swap. Just waiting for the sign up to join. I guess we're ahead of schedule this year!

I was just thinking about the ornament swap myself the other day when I made the ones I received last year from Junebillie. I am teaching a class on it this December.

what did you get dfrom Junebillie, please show us a pic.

Thank you for checking into this - I have been brain-storming my design for weeks now & keep watching for sign-ups. Don't we usually mail by end of October? Time is flying!!!!

I checked on last years ornament swap and it was this time last year it was posted. Give her a chance girls. I pm'd her too.

I am researching ornaments for this year's swap too. It sure is fun.

Oh oh did someone say sweet tea and Long Island iced tea!!!!! And m&ms all that's needed are some snicker doodles and I'll just fall into the hole willingly!!! I'm bad at being good of is it good at being bad. What song are we singing first????

just about finished up my Christmas shopping today, Yaaaaa!!!
gotta finish my son and cousin. my son...wants a rolex. he's wanted one since he was 4 and he's 23 now. gotta get one second hand or maybe 3r hand.

Oh stop that lynnie! I am so jealous now. I would love to have mine all finished by now. Things get far too busy as soon as October hits. All the baking and cleaning for the holidays. I have eight of the gift bags cut out and started and hope to finish them this week. I just need to shop for the drawstrings handles. I would then just have to fill them and find a box for them and I would be happy. Since I send them all to California and back east November 15th to one of the sil's to hold for Christmas day.

That would be one sister and my four sister in laws done. I am thinking of making my brother some cool painted burlap pillows for his couch. I think it would be a really cool look in his house. And my other brother is getting a quilt if I can get it quilted in time. I know he would like that.

I have one quilt at the quilter's for one grandson in Alaska, but, I usually don't buy for all the grands. Just one quilt planned to send him this year.

Lynnie I think what she meant to say was the ones I got from her. I got some for me and my 2 sisters. Very pretty.

I loved doing the ornament swap last year...we are starting our annual ornaments class at my lqs this Saturday..get lots of new ideas every year. I hope there is one here this year.

Ladies, I will be PM'ing Patrice in the next day or so to begin sign ups. Many people do both this and the secret Santa and since Secret Santa was just posted, I was waiting a few days...I always do sign ups a few days after Terri does Secret Santa.

Thanks for the info, Brenda...I haven't ever looked at the Secret Santa swap, so didn't know the time frame...I can't hardly keep up with my own time frames...I just try and check in here and when I see a swap I have done (or one I know I can do and finish on time) I click on the thread and check it out/sign up.

Posting a link at the bottom of this post to the lqs where I go, and where my friend Sandee teaches the ornament class...I am the unofficial web site "up-dater" (say that 10 times fast...lol). If you click on the classes tab it will take you to the page, scroll down and there are some pics of some of the ornaments.. I will see what I can figure out about posting how some of them are made.
