You can ship flat rate to some other countries although it isn't the same price as within the country.

ok......... so now i am getting very excited....... the sun is out the baby birds are all singing and that must mean summer is on its way......
so a big question to you all.......what sort of weather do you have christmas day? Here some years we have had heat.. and i mean a really hot day and its still been a case of serve the normal christmas meal of roast pork, turkey and roast veggies and then plum pudding.
so how do you celebrate?
hugs LORRAINE

brenda21 09-01-2010 04:49 PM

Lorraine,
In most of the states there is cold weather at Christmas and a lot of the states have snow....southern Florida, southern Texas, southern California are usually warm(er) haha...I lived in south Florida for over 20 years and it was always in the 80's or 90's at Christmas time and even if it is hot we still cook the big meal too :)

skavanau 09-01-2010 05:59 PM

I live in Arizona and its 80 on Christmas Day.

Quilter Day-by-Day 09-01-2010 06:02 PM

I live in Michigan most christmas snow and cold but occaionally no snow and warmer than below frezing. Christmas tree and make a dinner if family is here but if not out to eat.

Covered in Threads 09-02-2010 07:20 AM

Dear Lorraine,
I too live in Arizona but we usually have snow on the ground or it's windy and cold - say about the low 40's during the daytime. Your weather reminds me of San Diego where I grew up.

Carsey 09-02-2010 05:23 PM

ScrapQuilter 09-04-2010 08:10 PM

Brenda

I am wondering if you have me signed up?????? I too would be interested in doing several ornaments...... Maybe 4 or 5

ScrapQuilter

brenda21 09-05-2010 07:38 AM

I do have you signed up ScrapQuilter....since this is the first one, board Admin thought it best that we only swap 2 each for logistical reasons :)

RedGarnet222 09-05-2010 08:06 AM

Oh I really enjoyed making them. I understand, if admin thinks that is best, I will fit in. LOL! I would post a pic, but, wouldn't that ruin the surprise?

brenda21 09-05-2010 09:26 PM

Will it be a one-on-one thing, or will we mail in X-number of ornaments to a hostess and get X-number of ornaments back?

I probably will pass this time (I prefer the "make-a-bunch/get-a-bunch" swap format - LOL!), but thanks for organizing the swap. I look forward to seeing the photos!

I think that the one or two ornament is a great idea. I do not know about the rest of you here but I have a lot to do for the holidays for my family. So the one or two makes it possible for me to join in with the swap. It also keeps it from getting out of control.

brenda21 09-08-2010 06:28 AM

all info updated as of this morning :)

Do we need to respond to this or did I miss something?

brenda21 09-08-2010 12:49 PM

Chamby,
It's to move the message higher up...each time someone posts a note on the link, the whole link goes up near the top of the first page...the longer it goes with no comments, it moves further and further back and then no one sees it..so you write "bump" to bump it back up :)

chamby 09-08-2010 12:53 PM
