I noticed that you mentioned you painted ornaments. I have just begun quilting but I really am a painter. Of course just what I need another project with quilting but I am hooked on fabrics now. I was wondering if you know of any painting sites that also do swaps. This message board is the best I have ever seen. Wish I could find a painting board also.Thank You

Hello Everbody!
It looks like this is a VERY popular idea. Somebody said that if there were enough people we should be able to decorate a whole tree - it certainly looks like that could happen! I've joined in with Secret Pal swaps but wold like to know how many of you are willing to swap Internationally in this swap? I'm in Scotland and would like to swap. Bye Bye for now Quilty Friends! You could do ornaments, anything that you would paint on.I paint on alot of wood, old shoes, old double runner ice skates(which of course living in Florida) most people do not know what a double runner ice skate is. I have my daughter from NH hit the Goodwill stores and ship to me but shipping has become so expensive once I have finished the skates I won't be doing anymore. I fill the ice skates with xmas decorations and add a little lamp inside.I have thousands invested in paints of all kind and books and now you should see the material and quilting books. I will never live long enough to finish everything. LOL
