I made my first block this morning and it was really fun. However...do follow the directions, if it says..."Background must be on top." It means it...don't ask me how I know. :D

I love everyone's fabrics so far. My shipment from Connecting Threads is due tomorrow. I'm planning on using something from that order for this swap. I also plan to use a white background, probably a WOW. I'll post a pic as soon as I get my sample block done.

I'm so excited for everyone in this swap, and YEAH for new people!!! I have an odd question. If you see my pic below, we'll all have (if we do it according to directions) a small strip of extra. I hate waste, and I think this would be super cute sewn together and used as borders or binding. If anyone of you do not have plans for yours, let me know. I'd LOVE to beg, buy, or trade them. Wouldn't it be fun to have pieces from the squares? No pressure though lol. Just a thought I had while I was cutting pieces today. And please forgive my forwardness if it's an inappropriate request. <3
