I just received a wonderful mini from Dotty (dotcomdtcm)! It has hand embroidery celebrating the new year and has a special place in our wine serving area. In addition, she sent a lot of extra goodies that are much appreciated. Thanks Dotty![ATTACH=CONFIG]537948[/ATTACH]

A sad day today ladies, I think this will explain it all from her partner Steve.
Today I took my dearest companion,friend, partner to in care hospice. It was 9 days ago dialysis was stopped due to blood pressure and heart attack concern. Linda chose this to shield me from finding her dead in our home. What a woman. She is resting now. Today we talk of her children and Family and good times. Oh Jan...so sorry to hear this. It is heartbreaking to know Linda is facing these goodbyes. She has been such a fun member of the swaps and has had such a wonderful influence on all here for many years. I am so happy for your generosity in helping her settle into the house you had available several years ago and being close for these good years as she struggled with the continuing health issues. Thoughts and prayers for her and her family and you as well.

It's so very sad and almost too much for my mind to take. Linda is such a quirky kind soul with just the right amount of antagonism thrown right in. She's is the first friend I made here on the board. My heart is breaking.

I spent the morning with Linda today, I passed on all of your comments and wishes to her and she was very happy. She is at peace and very comfortable. She asked me to tell you all that she is thankful for your friendship and loves you all.
