Hope you are having a wonderful birthday Pam, Happy Birthday to you. Wanted to show all of you 2 more wall hangings that I have received in Linda's (elizabrat) name. Will take these to the Hospice House on Thursday. These are really beautiful ladies and the hospice house loves them. Thank you for the birthday wishes, ladies! I'm 21 (again) & I spent my day at work, then took Jack to the vet; he is fine, just got his shots. His only problem is old age (he'll be 15 next month).
Dotty -- love the mug rug you received from Terri! Great job! jaba -- your shamrock twin mug rugs from judee are so sweet. Everyone is Irish on St. Patrick's Day! The mini quilts made in Linda's memory are truly wonderful. And it's never too late to make one, if you're so inclined. Just contact jaba, who has been great about delivering them to the hospice people. |

I received my incredibly cute mug rug today from KLTQuilts, with a beautiful clover-eating sheep on it! Also wearing a clover trimmed top hat. I just love him! Tone on tone white swirl body and Katie did a lovely blanket stitch all around, then quilted around him with black for detaail.
She chose a perfect theme for my mug rug, my farmy family loves it. Pictures tomorrow (or late tonight) when my IT dept is home from practice. Just wanted to post a shout out for Katie.....she is awesome! |
OH gosh - talk about having a brain fart! I have been wondered why I hadn't seen any emails come through concerning the swap - looked under 'Thread Tools', yep subscribed, so what happened? DUH! I looked a bit ago and looked again, said 'subscribed'....Good grief, my eyes are deceiving me, it says 'SUBSCRIBE to this thread', not subscribED...lolo I went thru the posts, lots of neat rugs being shown. I started mine 2 wks ago, but machine broke down, so am waiting to get it back, maybe tomorrow or Monday! Hoping I don't have to re-figure a design.

I received my swap package today! :) Nelco sent me a beautiful PP clover. It's already in use as I write this!
