I want to make sure I understand what you are saying here. If I have it correct, 2 squares are Valentines fabric and the other 2 are either Red, Pink, Black or White. Or are you saying 1 square valentines, and the other 3 one of the red, pink black or white.

Thanks for clearing it up for me.[/QUOTE]

Two squares are Valentines fabric and then either two red squares or two pink squares or two white squares or two blacks squares.

I'll post a picture soon!

Correction: quilt blocks due on or before March 30th. I'll ask Patrice if she can edit that information in the original post.

valentines due a month after the holiday???

I like the idea of working on Valentine blocks during the month of February. It would feel holiday-ish while sewing without the pressure of needing it finished "on time." Anyway, I doubt I could get a quilt started in January quilted by February 14th anyway. I've never made a quilt from start to finish in less than 2 months. This way people can have plenty of time to arrange the blocks in a pleasing pattern and do the finishing work before using it next year (or anytime of year).

PS. Added benefit: buying backing or sashing Valentine fabric on sale after the holiday.

Evening All . . . .I went to the fabric store today trying to talk myself into buying Valentine's fabric I REALLY didn't like; and, I'm not a big fan of white and pink, either. I think it was the D4P Twist that I really wanted to do. Therefore I am dropping out of the Valentine's Swap. Hopefully, the D4P Twist will be used againsometime this year. I'll PM JC to cover all bases. . . .GP:eek:

I know I have enough of one Valentines fabric to do this, but like Groovy Pieces, haven't seen any in the store yet that spoke my name.
So could I use the one I have with white, red and black for three sets?
