I got my package today. I love all the blocks and super excited to work with such talented people. can't wait to put them into a quilt. Thanks again to Muse&sew for hosting a great swap.

My cherished parcel has arrived, with a wonderful assortment of blocks. Thanks aplenty to our Swap Hostess, muse&sew. I'm especially appreciative of the embroideries such as "Ghouls just wanna have fun" because it's something I cannot do. I'm hoping our Swap Ladies will post pictures of their layouts, no need to have a completely finished item. Let the inspiration continue! Thanks to all, jj

I got my package today! All of my blocks are very pretty and halloweenish! I'm looking forward to making my wallhanging or table runner. Undecided on which I will make at this point. Thank-you, everyone who was a part of this swap. Now to go have some fun creating a project with these block. Happy sewing.

Anyone put there blocks together yet? I need to make a witch for mine. I just need a witch in the quilt. It wouldn't be right without one.

I am working on mine, I got the blocks together in rows and just need to put them into the quilt top. Will post soon.

I absolutely loved the blocks I received. I immediately got them up on the quilt wall and starting planning my strategy. I took the blocks to our semi-annual quilt retreat down at the Oregon Coast last weekend. Two of my quilt buddies shared fabrics from their stash for the sashing and border.
What does everyone think? Sorry the photo is sideways :) |
LOVE it!!! Working on the runner this weekend. Dad having surgery next week, so this will cheer them both up when they get home from the hospital!!! Will post pictures!

Thanks, I am so excited to give it to DD. I may give it to her early, so she can enjoy it for Halloween longer.
