What other fabrics, etc are y'all looking for in a swap? I was thinking about maybe a Country & Western with a bit of Farming. What do y'all think? Give me some ideas of what you want!!!

Some ideas I would love are:
beach/Summer
patriotic
Animals
Halloween
Orientals

Probably way to early ...but I want to make some Christmas I spy's for my niece and nephew.... so I would be very interested in a Christmas swap for some variety (as long as i got them back in time to make them before the holidays).

Thanks!!! Maybe I can pull one for August, would that be enough time?

SewCrazyinGA 06-08-2011 11:59 AM

I've been thinking of a fishing I Spy for my DH.

laurilli 06-08-2011 12:26 PM

yosamitesa-- are we to use one quart size bag for each fabric than put all into a one gallon size bag? I'm not sure as both are mentioned, or does it matter either way? this is my first swap and I do'nt want to mess it up.
I am getting them ready to put in the mail tomorrow morning.
Thanks for putting up with me & my questions. Laurilli

Either one. whatever you have. :) Just as long as each set is in their own bag. If you want to do them each in quart and then put them all together in a gallon, you can do that too. :)

Please let me know if anyone drops out. I already started cutting, but didn't want to post a promise I couldn't keep so I didn't sign up. It never occurred to me it would fill up that fast. Booooo Hoooooo!

Diamondrose 06-08-2011 05:00 PM

I would be in for a red, white & blue, or possibly a Christmas one.

Just goes to show you that Yosamitesa is the hostess with the mostess - if you snooze on one of her swaps you lose. (Don't mind me, I just had to say that chalk it up to a rough day.)

Gigi07 06-09-2011 02:56 PM

Jannie 06-09-2011 04:28 PM

L8quilter 06-09-2011 05:08 PM

LOL...surgery is on Monday. Fingers crossed it is as easy as they say!!! Thanks for checking!!! :)

L8quilter 06-09-2011 08:30 PM

I'll keep your family in my prayers.

Faren 06-09-2011 09:38 PM

Hope everything goes well for the kiddo!

Yosamitesa 06-10-2011 05:44 AM

Thanks. It's not a big surgery, however they have to put him under...I always hate that part. They are inserting ear tubes and taking out the adenoids. I find out today what time the surgery is. Can't handle the suspense anymore...UGH!!!

Dr.'s office called. Surgery is at 8:15am and we have to be down at the hospital downtown at 6:30am. Gonna be a LONG day!!!

Diamondrose 06-10-2011 07:39 AM

Here's hoping for an easy surgery and even better results for your little man, aka your package inspector/helper.

LOL!!! Girl...I think he loves your fabric...he keeps going to your envelope and dumping it out and dragging the fabric around and laying on it. I had to put up all of the envelopes...but every time he saw yours he went to grabbing for it! :)

bearisgray 06-10-2011 05:05 PM

Hope your little guy's surgery goes well - with a super-quick recovery!

Jannie 06-10-2011 06:24 PM

My 9 month old granddaughter just had this done. Wonders what a help can be. Good luck

Yosamitesa 06-11-2011 12:53 PM

Thanks y'all!!! I will get on as soon as we get back home!

Yosamitesa 06-11-2011 01:01 PM

Got TONS of packages today!!! I think my mailman is getting pissed at me...

We have received 13 packages already!! Woo Hoo!!!

Jannie 06-11-2011 01:57 PM

I can't believe you received mine today. I just mailed it yesterday!! Now I don't have to worry that it got lost in the mail.

SewCrazyinGA 06-11-2011 02:50 PM

Will you let us know whose you receive so we don't all worry about them getting lost?

Jannie 06-11-2011 07:22 PM

OOP's I'm missing a day since I took yesterday off. I mailed mine on Thursday, but that still seems fast for you to have received it by Sat.

You dont have to send a pm if you post anything to any member on the activities page. it sends one automatically if you check the update box..
