Brenda, It looks as though my center will be ready to go to Linda the first of the week! All I have to do is stitch around the applique pieces as it's done! Yipee!:) Have you sent Debbra's center to me? I looked at posts on the 18th and it said you were sending it to me. (just wondering if it's on it's way...hopefully not held up by USPS!) Please let me know....Thanks

Connie, Haven't sent it yet....Debbra and I are trying to decide something with hers so I still have it...I'll let you know when it's in the mail :)

Crafty~I received yours in the mail from Debbra.....we're still *speaking* with each other to decide what we are doing next...the center and I both think that a trip to the two LQSs on Monday to visit other fabrics will help us :thumbup:

Oh, and sorry I haven't been keeping up with the pics guys. My camera was down for many weeks so I got out of the habit of taking pictures of everything... even though it's working just fine now.

I 'goofed' when I did the applique and didn't cut out just the outline fuseable web for the large green pieces so it's stiff! Rats...will I never learn? Grumbling....but I still like it and none of you will have to deal with that part so at least that's good. Hope you all have a good weekend. I'm looking forward to receiving the next center....it'll be Debbra's, right?

Chigger it will probably be Linda's...we had a little fabric situation that we're dealing with...it's a long story...but I'm technically not finished with Debbra's yet

Chigger, that's a nice center, lot of color options too. let me get to brainstorming - working on the star block, hope Megsann will be please with what I'm doing. Will post picture before sending to next on the list.

Debra...did you make the doll in your Avitar? I love her! I once attended a doll class by Elinor Peace Bailey and I was hooked! I haven't made many dolls....they don't seem to be very popular in my family....but I did gain a lot of respect for doll makers and for the different personalities they express in their work!
I may just have to get back into making a few! lol

Oh boy Crafty....your center and I went to the LQS today and we had FUN!!! We mingled with several fabrics until we found that we thought was AWESOME!!!! I'm very happy with and hope you will be too...will be working on it this weekend :)

I'd like to have it asap because I'd really like to be able to get it done before I leave for WA the first part of May. This will be the 3rd round for me. The clock is ticking and even if it comes tomorrow that doesn't give me much time. Please............if I don't get it like ASAP I won't be able to work on it til the first part of June.

Brenda I posted pics of your quilt.I had the same brown as the last row and used the swirls for the corners to tie it all together. I appliqued on the corners.I hope you like it its going out tomorrow.

According to the schedule I should be finished with putting the 3rd border on and have it in the mail by April 15, right? Well it's not going to happen cuz it's not here yet! LOL...hope owner is the understanding sort! :wink:
