Has anyone heard from Kathy? I’m wondering how her second surgery went.

Mine is also going in the mail today. Hope it flies safely home.

Me too.
I'm hoping she is taking time to take care of herself.

I am finally able to post a picture of the wonderful package from MizMelly.

If you haven't received your package yet, you might be waiting for the one I am sending tomorrow.

Is it just me or is everyone's posting smaller? Is this new thing suppose to be better?

a big package from queen barbie. Thank you for the fabrics, goodies and the kind note. I am having fun petting the fabric and refolding it. Very kind of you. I did take pictures but now need to figure out again how to post them.

Our swap host leader Kathy, have4boys, She asked me to let you know what is going on and gave me permission to share.

Kathy- I am in ICU. Bad shape. My spinal chord covering is being torn apart by the pressure of the spinal chord fluid. They have my fluid in a container slowly processing it around my chord. I am bedridden. I cannot get out of bed. My left arm does not work. Right is at about 70 Percent. Please let our swap know.

She is in a lot of pain, very tired and can only hold the phone for short times. Please feel free to pm me. She is also on FB.

As for the swap I think we are all doing good and getting our package out. Is there anyone as stand in? If not people can contact me regarding the swap. Just be aware at this point I am a regular participant like the rest of you. I will continue to update as Kathy as asked me to.

Reminder as most of us are hitting 2020 the ground running and are busy, packages need to be mailed out by January 18th, this is a Firm deadline.

A package was mailed out today, with an expected delivery date of 1/21/20.

Sorry to hear that Kathy is not doing so well. She still managed to participate in this swap though - I've received 2 packages from Amazon thanks to her generosity.
I sent my secret pal's package out yesterday and she should have it tomorrow. It's got to travel quite a distance Sure hope she likes it!
On another note, that "coast-to-coast storm" is supposed to arrive here tomorrow, with up to 10 inches of snow. Today our temps never got out of the teens and I refused to leave the house. Winter is not my favorite season.
Will be keeping Kathy in prayer.

I may be a bit late sending mine package out. I ordered her "most wanted" and that just arrived yesterday. Will try to put it all together today, or will go out first thing on monday. It doesn't have too far to travel!

Don't forget Monday is a Federal holiday, Martin L King Jr. Wait until Tuesday.

I think I will join you all again in February.

I received a super package today from Mary Peryea, there wasn't a card so I don't know her board name. Inside the package was a thread cutter caddy, postcards, 4 patterns 5 fat quarters, hot pad, a book, an I love sewing tote bag. The items will be put to good use. Thank you again.

Kathy, have4boys, was able to sit up today, the first time in 11 days. She also took a "walk" through ICU with her husband. Yeah Kathy!

That's great news! Slow and steady, sounds like Kathy starting to heal! We'll keep up the positive vibes for continued healing!

Oh Anna... You are so generous! I just got your lovely package. I'm so excited to get home and use my most wanted item at 6.5in Creative Grids Ruler! I would have been happy with just that! But nooooo..... you went above and beyond. I can't wait to get home and put these 30s prints in with the others I'm collecting to make a sampler quilt.

My package arrived today all the way from England to California. It's from Carolinepaj (Caroline Pajak). I was so surprised to get a package from somewhere else in the world. She sent FQ's in black and cream, Aurifil thread, quilt labels, pins, mini clips, needles, strawberry pin cushion, hexie templates, and a tiny metal box that's so cute. She went way overboard with all of the great things. Thanks so much Caroline. I love everything. I'd post a picture but I can't figure out how to transfer it to here.

My swap partner sent me lovely fabrics, a pincushion she made for me, and also a handmade needle case. I received a pretty card, a piece of selvage for my collection, and a note pad.

I sent my secret pal package out 15 days ago. Maybe I'm too OCD, but I haven't heard anything. On top of that, I lost the tracking number. When do I break my anonymity and ask my pal if she got it,?

Kathy, have4boys, is finaly home again! She will need some time to heal. I hope she will be able to post again soon.

I received a package from LAF2019 today! She sent some fabric, a notepad and pen, and some sew handy stickers (my most wanted item ). Thank you so much LAF2019, I’m excited to try out the stickers as I make farm girl vintage blocks. Some of those blocks have of tiny parts, I’m hoping having the stickers will help me keep my parts straight.

I got it! A big shout out to BrendaK for such an amazing selection of fabrics, notions, candy, and pet treats and more! She included some fun cat fabric. She must have read my mind since it was very recently I decided on a cat themed quilt.

Appreciate everyone's kind d words. I have had a rough go, but am on the mend. I am told each day will get better.

I tried posting a pic of my package, but after 8 tries, I gave up. I never had trouble before. I edited my photo to the correct size.
