July Fabric Postcard will be Anything Red/White/Blue .
You can use 1, 2, or all 3 colors in any variation or form..

You will be making One fabric postcard.

This swap is open to all levels of sewing. For a tutorial on how to make fabric postcards, please refer to tutorial in April post.
I do not know how to make a tutorial yet.

Please post pictures of postcards you receive.

* Cards must measure approx 4" × 6"
* Must be predominantly sewed and/or quilted. Embroidery by hand or machine is also welcome.
* Must have some type of finished edge.

Note: We will only be sending postcards due to the price of postage.

Please let me know if you can send internationally. It costs around $1.15.

Sign ups start ***Now***.
Sign ups end July 3rd.
Partner's names will be assigned July 4th.

Next 3 months:
August will be anything Picnic related.
September will be abstract art. Just let the creativity flow.
October will be anything that scares you or your favorite piece of Candy.

Watch for sign ups for these in their proper months.

I have my card just about 3/4 of the way finished. I am doing three different blocks, cards or/and quilts right now. That does not include the one on the frame right now. I think I take to many breaks from my sewing. I am hoping to finish it up today. Red/White/Blue wants to throw me off here a bit.

I figured that on this 4th of July I should work on if not finish my July post card. We are not doing anything special here today and so this can make it special. It is a beautiful summer day here. So I just finished cutting out a red, white and blue flower. I haven't decided how to embellish them yet, but that will come soon enough. Happy Independence Day to everyone!

Bear with me please. I was at my daughter's today taking care of her dogs and had the pup in the pool trying to take pics to send to my granddaughter and the pup panicked and my phone And iPad went into the pool so I am now working with my computer. It is storming out now ad I keep getting kicked off line.

I am taking into consideration of swappers saying they keep receiving and sending to the same person/people. I hope I am getting it on track to keep everyone interested and having fun.

My post card will go in the mail on Monday.

I sent out my postcard to sewnclog. She should receive it 7-13. I sent her the information and tracking number.

Boop your card will be in the mail on Friday. I will be going to the post office that day to mail other packages.

Did I learn a great deal today with the beautifully done post card that arrived at my home in today's mail. I received a post card from sewnclog. I will post a picture of it in a bit (husband just called to me). Teaches me that I can really send a message on a fabric post card. A most beautifully done work of art.

Here is the lovely postcard I received from j50.

Very nice post card queenbarbiej you received from j50 . Quite different from any other

The red white and blue are pieces of fabric and thread that I stitched heavily between dissolving paper. I then attached it to the base with fmq and left the edges free.
Keep those scraps and use them up.
