Yup, I do! Since I'm going to MAKE some time to sew and shop (it may be at midnight via the internet, but that's fine!) I signed up for 2 partners this month.

Louise I am so sorry about your dad. I do think I know what you are going through..Mom is in Hospice,too. Very sad and hard to let go.

Can't remember who said she was worried about what her mom would do when she finished her projects..bet she will be fine. My mother did that when my dad died though the home they had was only about a year old and they had it built to their specifications. Out went the carpet, repainted, etc. I thought she was crazy until I lost my husband..guess what I did? Yep, moved to Illinois and totally rehabbed the house and property!!! It is therapy..least it was for me!

These are basic instructions for any thread. The easy way is if you are already here, look at the top of the page for 'thread tools" click on it and subscribe.

I think you can also get there by clicking on link in this message .
Once you are there, look for "thread tools"
Click on "Subscribe to this thread".
A screen will come up that says "Notification Type".
Choose how you want to be notified of new listings. I choose weekly by email.

Once you suscribe, you will be able to click on "Quick Links".
Then click on subscribed threads and a list of your threads will come up. Look for July 2013 Secret Pal Swap and click on it and you are there.

Scary thing is the boss runs like that all the time. Just pray we get through until then and her dad doesn't get any worse, because if she has to go back to NY early i'd have to cancel everything!

Just got home from my 6th day of work this week. We had an outdoor performance of our DisAbility Project at the Saint Louis art museum as part of the opening of their brand new wing. it doubled the gallery space. It started raining as I was getting ready to leave, so I spent a few hours in the older galleries looking at some of my favorite art. Got some great quilting ideas. And a lovely sunburn :) Tomorrow i'm going to SEW!!! I've got to work part of a day at home, but I am taking the morning to do what I want to do. Then I just have to make it till Wed and I get a 4 day weekend to sew and shop for my secret pal (and catch up on all the crap I haven't done while working 45 hour weeks the past few weeks). Oh, Bliss.

Louise so sorry to hear about your father, it is hard to lose someone you love no matter what your age is. I lost my father when he was 57 and my mother when she was 59, by then I was 30 and an orphan! So very sorry for you.

Just a quick note to say "THANK YOU" to everyone for your
thoughts and prayers.

My dad passed this morning at 8:00 he is finally at peace and
where he wants to be "with his Annie".
