While I'm thinking about it I would like to say thanks to all of you that showed so much concern after the storms that hit here. I was truely humbled by the amount of members here that sent PM's, emails, and called me to check on me and my family. Things were sorta rough for the first couple of days, you know the usual chaos that goes along with storm destruction. Once we got the generator things improved alot. All is going well here, just a few more things to repair and then all should be back to normal. Lets just hope this doesnt happen again. As much as I like nature I found out that I'm not real big on roughing it, especially the whole no running water thing.LOL

No, they have not...there are some who were dealing with storm/fire issues such as no power and some who had some personal emergencies....most have sent but there are a few that said they will go out Monday or Tuesday....

I didn't realize many were affected by storms, we are in a drought here. That is all that has been in our news.

Let me start out by saying I got my fq gift today from guiltymom today and I got some beautiful fabric and a nice postcard from Michigan and she made ME a beautiful needlecase ,with all kinds of goodys in side, I can't put pics on off my phone buti will get library Mon , I seem to have trouble postin pics

I received these lovely fqs and extra "goodys" in the mail yesterday...mine and dh only "child"-our son is almost 27 :) was also married yesterday, so I had a wonderful day, and a wonderful surprise waiting for me when I got home last night!! Thanks so much to Sienna's GiGi!!

I'm so excited, my last package came today! Woot! It came from Krystyna. First, she sent me 6 Fq's rather then 5 which is really genrous. They came all tied up in a pretty red, white and blue ribbon I can add to my ribbon stash for Scrapbooking. And then, she added in these tiny cute, adoreable, lace earrings she made. (See bottom left of pic). They are so cute.

And to top it off, one of the fabrics I folded so you can see... has the Statue of Liberty in it. She is from that area, but I just LOVE it. So happy today!!

Great fabrics, Kensington! Krystyna has been a person who received my name on a swap, too...She sends lovely packages...with extra goodies! I love the lil earrings, you said she made them from lace? How unique...and, if you read this Krystyna, I would love to know did you tat them, crochet, bead?? As my avatar shows I also do Brazilian embroidery as well as other embellishing on crazy quilt squares...so am always looking for "new" ways to embellish...

I think she made them on her machine. Embroidery. But, they are stiff too, so they make great little earrings.

I love seeing all the wonderful 4th of July fq packages that were sent. I participated but didn't get my fq and my swap partner won't reply to Brenda. Please don't sign up for the swap if you aren't going to participate. I am very disappointed I didn't receive my fq this month.

i received my fat quarters very early in the month. But for the life of me I cant remember if I ever sent a thank you to tumrub between family reunions,baby showers and doggie medical crisis. My sincere apologies for my oversite. the fat quarters are very cute and will be put to good use. However my camera doesnt take very good pictures and i havent learned how to use the new digital camera yet.

I still have not heard from my FQ partner I mailed them to her
about the 14th or so (I was a day or two late looked at wrong
month on calendar).

I hope she liked them.
