I have to show you what I've been working on. I'll get the backing today and maybe a solid teal to use as a flange in my binding.

SheriR, Your quilt is very pretty! I like that turquoise and black combination.

I have to do this. I was just at a Quilt Retreat where a couple people were making scrappy quilts and I explained to them how I have only been quilting 6 years so don't have a lot of "scraps" yet--and most of my scraps are similar-- as I use a lot of darks and neutrals. Then the one person heard me say something about my being on the Quilting Board and she told me she was, too, and that is how she got a good variety of charms--by doing swaps. So I came home and looked it up and fortunately for me, there is a swap I can participate in already. I am anxious to participate in this and start collecting more variety of "candy" for true scrappy quilts. I will PM you.

I love your quilt, Sheri! What a great use of the mini-charms with blacks and whites. Genius.

I saw this quilt the other day. I loved it then and I'm still in love. I wonder if she used a FQ bundle. The colors blend nicely and I really like that bit of red(?) scattered around. I wouldn't have enough in my scrap bin to make a top that coordinated.

Well! I just enlarge that photo and it is not a coordinated bundle but scraps. It is beautiful.

OK, I am officially addicted to mini charms... (from the birthday swap.) I will have to join you all in this one! The only question now is do I want to swap the batiks too...
