I am so happy for your son. You must be very proud. When mine accomplish something I feel almost like I did!! (what a dork right?) its a wonderful way to start your summer.

Brenda! Congrats! Where does he play? My daughter plays golf at UTTyler they just took 2nd at Nationals and she was also named AllAmerican, taking 7th overall herself. We're still excited about it. YIPEE for all y'all and your son!!!

Thanks everyone! He has played the past 2 years at Brookhaven College-small school near Dallas. He signed last month to play for Tarleton State in the fall.

Awww...Tarleton State is a great school. Lots of traditions lots of great people!!! I loved visiting there. :) Still...lots of CONGRATS!!! That is an amazing accomplishment!!! Maybe we will see him MLB bound one day! :D

Woo hoo!!! I got my two names AND I have already been to the post office and they are on their way!!! How about a few hints!!! Both of my people have a 0 & 6 in their zip codes and they both have a 3 in their address. Both people live in states that are WAY northeast of me. One packages is traveleing 1,038 miles and the other packages is traveleing 1,306 miles. One last clue...both people live in states that surround, touch or border one of the great lakes!!! :) Enjoy when you get them, I hope y'all LOVE them!!! :)

1) goes SW 1017 miles to the state where I was born.
2) goes to a town full of history...due west.."Go West, Young Man, Go West" for 2111 miles.

I took a road trip .... my own shop hop .... shopping for fabric for FQ swaps. found a few extra pieces too but am all set for this month and next. now that I've got a name or two, all I have to do is cut FQ and pack them ... mailing tomorrow morning, one going 615 miles, the other 860 miles - both eastbound crossing the Mississippi River. We're all getting off to a great start with those red, white and blue flying around!

Mailed today...thought I couldn't until Monday but I got it together!!!!

I have been in the house all day, mime are boxed and ready to go. They will be out on Monday.

This summer here in Texas may play he** on my breathing. I am already having problems and the worst of the heat has not happened. I lost a lung last year to lung cancer, so I have been adjusting life to that. This week when ever I don't any long distance walking I can hardly breath and I know the crazy storms have been a problem too.

oh joy! today mine goes out to my partner.. WAY WAY across the US of A long road trip sure hope that donkey can get it there!

According to the postal schedules my packages should be arriving today or tomorrow. Hope the donkey doesn't get lost:) along the way.

Today was a "Banner" day...first I got FQ's from Yosamitesa..absolutely wonderful fabrics from a "Quilt Across Texas 2012" fabric line, 2 others from Moda and a BONUS fat quarter. Thank you so much Yosamitesa
