June Secret Pal Swap: Sign ups open until midnight May 31 Come join the fun!

This is a monthly secret pal swap. There is a sign up every month, and you can
choose whether or not to participate each month. You will get a different partner each month, and the person you send to will may be different than the person you receive from. Failure to send your package after signing up will be cause to be banned from all future swaps. Please do not sign up if you cannot fulfill your obligation. Have fun and be creative!

After receiving your Secret Pal’s details, go to work and put together a package with something you think your pal would like. There is a $15.00 limit on this swap that does not include what you have in your stash. (This does not include shipping) Most swappers do not mind like-new stash items. Please send items you would like to receive. Do not send smelly, holey, or stained fabric. You will need to send me (hav4boys) a PM when mailing and receiving. This way I can keep my records straight. Also send a PM to your SP thanking them. This is an important part of participating. It lets your secret pal know you got their package.

Please take pictures and post in group as everyone likes to see what you get.

Packages need to be mailed out by June 22th, this is a Firm deadline. All International mailings must be mailed by June 10th Firm. If you know that you cannot mail by that date, Please Do Not Sign Up.

For international mailing it is very important that you mark your parcel as a 'Gift' on the Customs Declaration (there's a box you can check). Also, the value should be $10 only (even if you send diamond necklace). The person receiving the package is liable for Import Duty, Tax and a Handling fee. This can cost the person receiving as much as $40.

Padded envelopes are much cheaper to send compared to small boxes. These can be ordered free of charge from the USPS website.

I took a road trip to my secret pal's general area last fall! (you know, back when road trips were still normal and allowed!)

So excited to get my new pal. I am having fun putting a package together and ordering stuff. I hope she likes her package!

Secret Pal, you have a package coming your way from a vendor. I'm hoping to mail out the rest of your goodies by Friday.. By the way, hubby and I were planning a trip to your state before the corona virus struck. That's been canceled of course, along with everything else we had planned. Oh well, better safe than sorry these days! Stay safe!

I picked up a package from the PO today, looks like it is from my secret pal! So excited to open it later tonight, will post pictures soon. Thank you!

I have a swap partner who is new to me this month! She lives fairly far away and it is definitely much hotter where she lives than here! I mailed my package this morning and I was able to include some of the items from her profile.

I received an awesome package from Kathy. I got one of “her” treasured T-shirt’s. I’m having foot surgery tomorrow- & will be Weight bearing

BrendaK put together a wonderful package for me, I can tell there was a lot of thought and personalization. She chose the perfect monster fabric for my project, fat quarters in my favorite color, and my favorite candy! She even had my dogs in mind, with 2 toys and treats (they are already nearly halfway through that bag!). I got many other goodies too, including some dresdens that I will have fun playing with.

How fun LAF2019! It is good I did not get the bag of chocolate. I would be in so much trouble. Trying to loose weight. Some how my body thought COVID19 meant gain 19. Blehhh! I wasn't there yet but well on my way. Trying to get a handle on things. Finaly feeling up to quilting again and am getting somethings done like shipping out my package to my secret pal. How is everyone?

Today I received a wonderous package from Crispy Frog. Man O Man was it loaded. I wish I could send pictures because she sent three one yard pieces of beautiful fabric. One panel of Things Quilter's really Think II, one Prayer Shawl Panel, 1 Magnetic Pin Wand, Note pad and Pen. Six Beautiful Elephant Charm Pendents with wonderful stones. Super green bag.

Hi Guys,

I received my swap package today - my sender this month was our lovely hostess Kathy.... she know my tastes and my love of Kim Diehl and sen sent a whole FQ bundle of her fabric.... and a t-shirt that I love and my favourite Jelly Beans!!!!!!! what more could a girl want.



Also, just a heads up to my person this month..... I ordered some items for you and the last package arrived this morning.... so I popped them in the package and put it in the mail this afternoon. It now has an ocean to cross before it arrives at it's final destination...... I do hope you like what I have sent and I am so sorry it was a little delayed going to you.
