quiltnut- purple is my favorite color so whenever it's in a fabric my eyes just go right to it it seems. Imagine that huh? So glad your fiancee is doing better, please make sure you take care of yourself also. You know that saying I'm sure....if you don't take care of yourself....you can't care for others either. Not a quote but something like that, just take care of you too...

Went back to cover the posting I missed when I posted earlier this week. I will be praying for everyone on here, those & loved ones recovering, those that are feeling better, Birthday girl Lori, and for whatever needs anyone has.
Fayzer thanks for the explanation. It sounds like a really fun activity for your guild. I might have to join your guild to get that fish block pattern but I'd have to be an absentee member. Nice to see you back Jan! Such a lovely array of packages. |
I think I saw a posting somewhere on the Board by Krytyna that they had found a house and maybe just waiting to close. Possibly that did happen and she is busy preparing for the move.
|
Grammy J: I received your package and it was full of goodies. Lots of fabric along with 2 panels. Also received scissors with 2 fobs, 2 chocolate mints, 2 patterns, measuring tape, 2 pretty garden tools, a seed packet and a lovely quilt themed card. Than you so much. I appreciate everything.
Now I am having trouble posting picture. |

Thank so ever ever so much! Everything you sent is awesome....

Nice pkgs everyone. Jaba I'm trying to relax but with the combo of his recuperating and my MS it takes the wind out of me. To top it off I can't take time off since we're doing in nos. :( He managed to sleep well last night and this morning after his meds he got up and walked a bit. He's taking a nap right now which is ok. Tomorrow he'll be having someone from the VA come and provide physical therapy for and with him, of course I'll be here. Can't wait for the April SP swap to open!
|
Understand totally, your MS is probably like mine, some days are just better than others. Just very grateful mine has stayed manageable and not gotten any worse as yet. It's hard trying to take care of someone else and yourself too! Hope it gets better for you quickly, sounds like he's doing really well though.
|
Thanks Jaba. I'm trying my best keeping it under control. I only have a few days of meds and I've been battling the receptionist to have the doctor fax the authorization for my meds. If it hasn't been done then I'll have to take some legal action.

Thanks everyone. Believe it or not, with the crazy life I lead, this is such a highlight of my month. I am feeling much better. Never want to experience an uproar of diverticulitis again.
|
According to my 'track and trace' it's still unknown when it'll be delivered and it's already been 8 days since I mailed it, sniff:-((

I got my package today. I got fat quarters in my favorite colors, 2 different coffees and my requested item of glass head fine pins. I'm a happy quilter! It is super nice when a pal is going through tough times and they still follow through. Thanks MDMPanther.
Aren't the FQ pretty? |

Thanks to Jane/jclinganrey. The fabrics were great. I love the tote for my knitting & the little quilt is on my door.
Very thoughful and generous! |
Very nice , I love that tote too, looks very handy.
Great packages everyone. According to 'track and trace' my package is still on it's way and no delivery date known yet. pffff, it's 12 days now. And another package, that I send on the same day but without track and trace, hasn't arrived either. I'm getting nervous :-(( My neighbour told me she had send a parcel to the US in januari and it took 9 weeks to arrive. Well, let's look on the bright side: it did arrive. |
Dotty -
I hope the little wall hanging looks 'Springy' and 'Eastery' enough. Enjoy! Jane |
I am on the bench too! But I have been too busy to worry about when my package arrives! Maybe today!
|
Wow, I love that tote for the knitting items!! Lot's of awesome packages! So much fun to see everyone's goodies :)

I am still on that bench! At least the cherry trees are blooming and it is getting warmer!
Gaijin |
Hope you get your package soon! Cherry trees sound beautiful though, I have snow on the ground to look at again. It's starting to get a little old, so ready for warmer weather.

There was an issue the year before last, I think, when no less than three parcels from wenot in the Netherlands went missing. I don't know if/when they turned up. Fingers crossed for you!
I did a search for her because I'ld like to know if they ever turned up, but she hasn't posted for 2 years. She did participate in several SP swaps, but I can imagine te fun is gone when the packages just disappear. I'm keeping all fingers crossed mine will arrive this week. So far from the 3 items send on the same day just one arrived! |
International mail is so tricky. Sometimes the packages seem to go on a slow boat to tour the world, and then a package makes it in under a week. I've been told it all depends on how quickly it gets through customs.

I got it!

I finally got my March package!
I waited almost a month, but it was really worth it! I actually enjoyed the anticipation! Dya (fabric lover) from the Netherlands sent an amazing amount of stuff in a relatively small package. The many things just kind of folded themselves out! She sent beautiful fabrics, two books, Dutch-style coasters and tea bag caddies, ribbons, lace, intersesting tea (that I have never tried!), and lovely buttons for my bow-tuck bags. Thank you so much! Gaijin (Deborah) |
That officially closes the March Secret Pal Swap!
|
I'm so glad it arrived , I was becoming a nervous wreck :-)) I like to exagerate, can you tell LOL.
But all 3 items I've sent on the same day have arrived now, do I'm happy. And even more because you like it. Thank you Lori for organising this swap each month. |
