Hi all, popping in for just a second. I got a lovely squishy from Qwercus Rubra today. Will photo tomorrow. It had LOTS of fabric and patterns, including some wonderful I spy fabric for my quilt. My partners will go out soon, promise! I ordered stuff the night I got partners, and the item is scheduled to be here tomorrow for the one, and I have to replace an item for my other partner. But for a lovely reason - my dad ate it, not realizing it was for my partner - and it stayed down. So i'll pick that up tomorrow and get both packages out the door.

I received a lovely package, full to the brim, with loads of goodies from Homecaregiver (Patsy). Wow, what a package! I'll post pics tomorrow.

I received an amazing package from toomanyufo's. She ordered me some perfect fabric with flip flops on it. I have not seen before. Treats for my furbabies-spice cookies from petco. Sour candy for me. She also sent thread, cross stitich kit and a very nice quilt book. Thank you so very much. I am unable to post picture. There is something wrong with my computer. Hope my son can take it in today and get it fixed soon.

I received my package fro clsurz yesterday and sure made my day....she is an A+ secret pal....read the mag last night, haven't gotten into the paydays yet but will...love the satin jewel keeper, pin cushion, FQ's and the embroidered angel...she will definately go onto my guild shirt right away...thanks so much clsurz....bless you and don't forget books...thanks again

I would love to have one of the window decals - Quilter on board that knitette sent. It is Quilt Diva, an Amy Bradley design. I could not find the window decal on her website, only the pin. I have the quilt pattern, but would love the decal for my car, since the license plate is Quiltrs. Does anyone know where I can get one?

Glad you liked your pkg. I thought the fabric was very pretty. I would have made it into a tote bag, had I had more time.

I'm on vacation just now - been to the Isle of Skye, down the west coast to Oban via Fort William and am now in Pitlochry. I've been collecting a few Scottish trinkets on the way, so some thinsg may be appearing in parcels shortly.

Wow, took me forever to catch up. Went "up north" this weekend and didn't have internet most of the time. Got a lot of hand sewing done, and finished up my DQ for another swap. Got a nice note from Luvmyash, she received my package and liked it. Have not been to the mailbox to see if anything is in there. Will call DH and have him go look for me.
I have become so close to so many of the Qb members over the last year, (at least I feel very close) this is a wonderful bunch of ladies! I am near tears as I read what some are going through. My prayers and best wishes go out to all that are suffering for whatever reason. I wish it was as easy to reach out physically as it is virtually. I'd be bringing chicken soup to a lot of people! Since I cannot do that, here is lots of ((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))). I hope they make you feel better.

These are the pictures of the SP package I received from Homecaregiver. It was absolutely fantastic. Patsy is a great swap partner. This is a list of the items she sent: a book, "God Uses Cracked Pots", 2 quilting magazines, 3 pieces of beautiful fall fabric and teal fabric, a piece of fall fabric 3/4 of a yard and a beautiful floral fabric over 3 yards. There was also a Thimbleberries pattern, 2 boxes of powdered drink packets, a machine threader, a measuring tape, a beautiful cup and saucer (which I collect) 2 packages of nuts (one of which didn't survive for the picture), a Moda charm pack in fall colors and the most gorgeous table runner in the 3 D pinwheel pattern in fall colors. My camera does not do justice to these objects but here are the pictures.

I took 2 photos as I forgot to put some of the items in the first one. I recieved some pretty fabrics,homemade jam,cute buttons,pretty homemade chair sewing caddy,seam ripper,yellow thread(which I needed )dog and cat treats,moda squares,a book,measure tape,index cards, sugar free chocolates (which was also needed lol) note pad and I hope I didn't leave anything out. I received a lovely package from GrandmaPeg today. I couldn't believe that she sent the item I listed under "One item" -- Pinmoors! I had hoped for someone to share 10 or 12 with me so I could try them, but she sent a whole package! I am over the moon. In addition (as if that wasn't enough) she sent two fat quarters, my favourite candy, treats for the cats, matching dishwash cloths and potholders, and hand sanitizer. Thank you so very much, Peg.

Wonderful pkgs coming in! I just checked out what Pinmoors are and never knew of this notion so its on my shopping list! Wonderful pkgs all, keep 'em coming! I know my SP received hers yesterday, at least that's what the tracking states but I know she's busy right now.

I'm a little late posting a picture, life has gotten in the way. But better late than never. I have received my package from Debbie (mooretll) on Monday. She definitely did a great job. I love everything she sent. I got lots of blue fabrics for a blue and white quilt I want to make, veggie fabric for a canning jar quilt, a sewing machine caddy that is wonderful, a potatoe bag, organizers, needles, bobbin buddies, little scissors, quilt book, pattern, a yard flag, pot holder, and a watermelon tablet (my town is known as Watermelon City). Just wanting to post that whoever has my name for the May Secret Swap that I am away on vacation and will return home on the 30th or 31st. As soon as I get home, I will acknowledge the sender with pictures and thanks.
I am visiting my daughter and family and just met my new ggrandson for the very first time. He is alreadyn 9 mos old. He is a charmer and so cute and funny with all his little antics. It was 100 degrees here in Lincoln NE. Missed my walk due to the heat. Everyone have a great and wonderful day.

I just want to say Ilove participating in this swap. I thoroughly enjoy putting boxes together andget so much joy from giving. I must say I look forward to receiving too. Ioften tell myself the gifts will come just when they are needed and not to worry.That happened yesterday. I was having a rough day. Car needs new tires and therefrigerator went out. Heading to LA in the morning and was exhausted from MayRevision being released for the State of California yesterday. (I do the budgetfor the Energy Commission, Public Utilities Commission, and the State LandsCommission). On top of all else, still an emotion wreck and PMS hit. Need I saymore?

Now for the good note: I stopped at the mail box and noted the package key wasnot in the box. I opened my mailbox, and ta dah! The key. Now I was smiling.Opened the box and there was a medium flat rate box with my name on it. Day isgetting better.

I received the most fabulous box from QuiltNut4Ever. The box contained a greatturtle for my collection on my desk at work, a table runner in my favoritecolors for my favorite holiday, a stiletto, materials in my favorite colors,buttons, tea, an adorable box of Kleenex that is already in the car, ChickenSoup to Inspire a Woman's Soul, 4 spools of thread, and something I REALLYwanted and did not put: The CLIPS!!! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. To top itall off, I got a back of Dark Chocolate Raisinettes. This package was perfectand as I write this, I am smiling again. Thank you QuiltNut4Ever.
