Please follow the instructions for making your blocks. They MUST measure 12 ½” before sending, please be sure to measure before doing so. You must contact each other to discuss what color/theme you are wanting, and exchange addresses immediately. It takes a bit for the overseas exchanges to arrive, so contact asap. It’s nice to see pictures too.. Remember, enjoy this swap and make your partners happy. Welcome to newcomers..

Hi Jean, I've just sent a 'pm' to my October partner...

I am changing the theme of my request block this month as I now have enough blocks!! I just need to make myself a 'wonky house' block and I can put all of my collected blocks together into a top!!
How exciting!!!!

My partner and I have contacted each other and are all set to go...

Hi Jacquie and everyone! Please forgive my scatterbrained self. just a couple of weeks ago we learned my sister in law was murdered in her own home. She was my hubbys only baby sister. We have been shattered and are trying to pick up the pieces. We are now through funeral and the monster was caught that did this, but it is really tough. I now am caught up with last months block and just sent you a pm Jacquie. If you have prayers that need a home please pray for us.

HI Theressa, such an awful ideal for you all to go through, I'm glad things are slowly turning around for you all, although this will be a very challenging time for you all, God be with you all during this very sad time.
I have sent you a 'pm'. Below (further down the page) is a picture of 2 of the blocks I have recently received in the blues & creams... I hope you will find 'cotton time' therapeutic, I know it has helped me in the past when I have need peace in my life.

I contacted my partner, just need to send her my address, which I will do today or tomorrow. Then I need to decide on a block and fabric. Maybe I should do that the other way around. May be easier to decide. My goal to mail the block out by the end of next week.

Curious about this swap... are each set of partners swapping two blocks? And do you use your own fabrics and then mail directly to the partner? What is the sign up deadline each month? Can you have more than one partner each month?

I guess I should have asked if the rules and guidelines for how this swap works were posted somewhere before asking all the questions...

I received a wonderful block from 'terriam' today. Also a lovely postcard and lace snowman.

Ive also included a picture of my 4 blocks collected so far. There is a nice mix of blues and creams coming together!! I love them!!

yes I did and it was perfect. I'm sorry I thought I had posted a thank-you. I will make a lap quilt after I make or get more blocks.
