Oh look what the postman brought to me last week...I've been bad and should have posted sooner. But we all know that life sometimes gets in the way. My mugrug partner was letsquilt and she did such a beautiful job on the mugrug she sent me. She also included some added goodies. Look at what I received.

leiladylei54 06-12-2013 06:31 PM

Oh, I am so sorry you're sitting on the bench, annt59. I would be more than happy to sit with you while you wait.....I'll bring along some fresh sliced pineapple, some just picked mangoes from my trees, and how about some Kona coffee while we wait???

Old_Rosebud 06-13-2013 07:09 AM

annt59 - I'll join you! I will just vacate the bench I have been keeping warm. :)

have you adjusted the size? 640x480 , in the editting program. on my computer it's called microsoft office picture manager. once you've put in the right size, confirmed it at bottom right, then hit file (top left) and save. now you can add it at the end of the post. hope this helps.

Nope, I don't do embroidery. I did it with my machine.....very slowly! If you know what zentangle is, that is what I was trying to achieve. It's not easy but it sure it fun!

nancia 06-18-2013 01:01 PM

sibi-- it looks wonderful! i haven't even turned my embroidery machine on. it scares me for some reason. out of my comfort bubble!

I didn't do it with an embroidery machine, I did it with my regular ole brother. That's why it was hard. I'd love to have an embroidery machine! You should read the manual, cover to cover first, then go for it. When I bought my brother many years ago that's what I did. Read the manual cover to cover then kept it at my side as I started playing with the different stitches and stuff. I'm guessing an embroidery machine will be much more complicated but you'll never enjoy it if you don't give it a try. What have you got to lose? Go for it!!

I received two mug rugs (~6" each) and a french vanilla latte serving in the mail on Monday, June 17th. I tried to upload a picture, but for some reason am not able to do so.

This was my first mug rug swap. They look similar to a roman stripe block.

Glad your package arrived safely. Sorry I missed the size requirement. I prefer a smaller mug rug. Really I was thinking that they were larger than a coaster but smaller than a place mat.

This is the beautiful mug rug and gifts I received from Stitchingpost. They're so beautiful and I love them!

Thank you so much! Along with the mug rug, I got an organizer mat for under my sewing machine(which I desperately needed lol) and it was filled with goodies...a measuring tape, stunning fat quarter, machine seam guide, seam ripper, key chain and emory board, and 4 patterns!

Thank you again, Sherrie for your generosity and thoughtfulness!

Old_Rosebud 06-27-2013 09:38 AM

suzyq - that is my favorite brand of seam ripper! I just wish it was flat on one end so it wouldn't roll all over the place!
