Yeah...my partner just p.m.ed me and got hers. She said she really liked it, i hope she did.
I always second guess myself on things like this. I feel i do nice work, but worry if its up to others standards.

Whoo Hoo! I just got my needlecase today and it's beautiful. I've actually never had a needle case ("etui" to you crossword fans). Do I get to mention my partner's name? She's from the "Heartland" and lives in a biblical town. And I am pm'ing her to say thank you. AND she included some Thimbleberries charms (gotta love her).

Soooo, I guess that means I'm sending mine out to my partner on Monday. To a place south of Maine. The state Jimmy Carter comes from and from one of the fastest growing communities in the South.

Needlecase Swap
 

Received my needlecase from Linnie today. It is beautiful. I am attempting to post pictures of the outside and inside. The camera never does justice to the colors. You can see that there is a bonus of goodies! thanks, Linnie I love it!

Dh took some mail out to the mailbox, this morning, and brought in the mail from . . . ummmmm, Saturday(?) . . . and handed me a box! :::::hanging head, in shame::::: This wonderful box had been sitting in the mailbox, all that time. Anyway, I opened it and am STILL in awe! No offense, anyone . . . but I have received the most beautiful, cutest, most wonderful needle case, of all time! It's from Mary Quilting and the pictures don't even begin to do it justice. It's just the cutest thing, I've ever seen! Along with the beautiful turtle case, is a darling "baby" turtle picushion! Plus cute little scissors and a spool of thread and oh, my!!! It's all so daggum CUTE!!!!! THANK YOU, Mary Quilting!!! Take a look!

I also received by needlecase. My swap partner put a lot of thought into it and I absolutely love it. She said she repurposed old ties and a clasp from a pocketbook. Since the pictures won't do it justice, I tell you that there is machine embroidery in lavender on it. The basic color is brown, different shades (which is my favorite) and seed beads as center for the delicate embroidered flowers. On the inside there is a place for a pair of sissors with a lavender snap, a pocket for incidentals, a place for a spool of thread and felt for keeping the needles. I can't tell you how thrilled I am with this needle case. I only hope the person receiving the one I made likes it as well. Elayne (roserips) I hope you don't mind if I copy your pattern.

Mine is ready to mail and will mail on Friday. This is the first needlecases I have made. The pictures I have seen are great.

Got my needlecase done and it will be in tomorrow's mail on it's way to Washington state. I just love all the needlecases that have been shown and hope my partner will love hers too.

Its a white kitty with a pink feather boa tail!!!!!!!!
( i wear pink and white all year long.
And its a kitty. And not only that... she sent me something for my precious little furbaby zoey.
First she made me a ute little kitty sto king out of kitty fabric!!!!!
And zoey got a gict also... a ute little catnip filled flying piggy. The minute i opened it, little girl zoey ame running and startex playing with it. Thanks so much barb.

My needlecase went out on the 8th and delivery comfirmation says it was delivered on the 10th. I haven't heard anything yet and I'm getting nervous. Guess I'll wait a few days before I contact her.

Thanks Sue, it is my favorite color of course & I love hummingbirds so that was so neat for you to have added the embroidery! The scissors are so pretty & feminine, maybe I can keep my husband from using them! LOL And my best friend from high school worked at U of M & just retired so it was neat getting the chocolate bar to enjoy while sewing & watching U of M football!

Wow, all the needle cases are gorgeous. Drum roll, here is mine from LindaR. Several pics. See the lovely pin with the star?! When you open it there are two pockets and the needle spot. So plenty of room. When it is closed you see the crystals she put on the front flap and then in the back is this darling secret pocket where the scissors are sticking out and that flap snaps back. It is so clever. I goofed and didn't get the front of the scissors!
