Had every intention of using Priority USPS but when I got there on Wednesday the line was forever long and only one clerk. Couldn't go back on the 14th so hopped on over to UPS and paid a bit more for less service LOL my receipt didn't give me me an estimated time of arrival.

So ... anyway ... long story to just say that some of us who didn't use Priority Mail our packages will take 3 to 5 days longer to be delivered.

Tsk, tsk! You belong in the Naughty Hole! Bring cookies!

Been reading the posts and trying to stay caught up. Do believe I forgot to mention that my SS package did go out. Does someone maybe already have it...or could it still be on it's way? Terrible getting older and forgetting when you mailed things! I did post when I received my package. Been a month that it has been here torturing me. Do not worry dear sender...I have not broke down and opened early. The package is receiving much love and care. I give it a pat, a squeeze, and a cuddle each time I walk by it!

You should be able to google the zip code on the postage sticker.

nygal 11-15-2013 03:22 PM

No package yet at my house. Just letting my SS know in case she sent it to me and is wondering if it arrived.:)

sew_Tracy 11-15-2013 03:59 PM

Sent my package yesterday, GOT my package today....my 16-y/o son...open it mom, they will never know! Hadn't I taught these kids integrity? Bahahahaha...candy trumps integrity!

buddy'smom 11-15-2013 04:35 PM

Yes, yes, yes, mine has arrived today, doing the happy dance.

Likethedog 11-15-2013 04:48 PM

I didn't have time to get to the post office yesterday to check out P.O. Box (small town, no street delivery), but I checked today and -- I received a package from Secret Santa! Now I'm struggling -- where to hide it from myself???

pyffer3 11-15-2013 05:06 PM

We'll, another night I come home from work to find that hubby has placed my package in the driveway so I would see it first thing when I got home! He is really too much. I am beginning to wonder if he and my secret Santa are in cahoots with each other!!

Likethedog 11-15-2013 05:09 PM

Shoot! I'm too excited about this package. It's been in the house for less than an hour, and it's driving me crazy! May have to give it to my husband to put into his shop -- I'm scared to go in there (weird pounding and grinding noises can be heard at times). How can I wait for Dec. 8???

Bullock2us 11-15-2013 05:26 PM

I received my SS package today-I too am so excited! Where to hide it-have to hide it???????????????????

Tam...Moo 11-15-2013 06:09 PM

My package is calling me from the corner...is there an elf in there? Thanks Secret Santa for keeping my curiosity up...cannot wait!

Tam...Moo 11-15-2013 06:15 PM

:D :D :D :D

ckcowl 11-16-2013 03:03 AM

I hope my (recipient) has received her package- my delivery confirmation said it would be there Friday, but I do not see that she posted as received- I will keep my fingers crossed it arrived safe & sound..
I have not received one yet- but still have plenty of time so no worries. my only worry was getting one out on time.

Cindy60545 11-16-2013 04:28 AM

Good morning! I see some don't have their packages yet, but should very shortly, since the deadline is now past for sending. Ya'll must be extra special! Mine had been tormenting me for awhile now! Clue's still haven't really fit me, so still haven't figured out who my Santa was. I do know that it jingles though!
I've got a very busy day today with the Birthday boy. We replaced the goldfish last night & they're still alive this morning, so I guess we'll have them around for awhile now. Found out we should have put some stuff in the water to dissipate the chlorine in the water, so we did that & they're fine. It's been a long time since I'd had any kind of fish tank & had forgotten that little tidbit.

Hint for today: There's a lot of history to your state.

I haven't yet received mine, either. Although I'm actually glad it's not yet here to taunt me, I'd never pass up a good WHINE party! I'm in!!! Let the party begin! :) WHOOOOHOOOO!!!!! :D

jaba 11-16-2013 07:11 AM

Guess I'm in with all of you for the wine and whine :D Haven't received yet either. Maybe today will be the day

quilt addict 11-16-2013 09:12 AM

Clue for my giftee, your city is in according to Wikipedia one of the highest points of elevation in your state.

It seems there is something in my box that is gnawing away at a corner trying to escape. I think I should make sure it is safe and let it out!

I am roasting pumpkin today so tomorrow I will make some pumpkin butter for those of us on the rim.

SulaBug 11-16-2013 11:41 AM

WELCOME EVERYONE to the WHINE party in the hole. It is getting pretty loud down here & the goodies are in abundance, so join us any time. I will however be leaving, just long enough to check if my SS package has arrived yet today, but will return post haste!! Good Luck to all on arriving packages!!
:D :D :D :D

SulaBug 11-16-2013 11:46 AM

Hey Cindy.............wish that grandson of yours a "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" for all of us. I hope you are having a great time.

quiltingdragon 11-16-2013 12:35 PM

I got a package today from a Jolly 0. Elf in Huntsville, Alabama today. To my partner - yours is scheduled for delivery early next week according to the tracker.

Sewflower 11-16-2013 12:39 PM

nygal 11-16-2013 01:10 PM

I received MY package today too!! It's from a "Holly Snowman". Imagine having such a seasonal name around this time of year!! LOL It's a nice big, heavy box. Darn...now I'll be with the others fighting the temptation to NOT open it. But I'll be good and wait. Thank you ahead of time to my SS who ever you are!!:)

Cheesehead 11-16-2013 01:33 PM

Doing the "happy dance" my SS package arrived today:thumbup:. Can I still party in the hole? I have a bottle of coconut rum, and some juice to mix with it. I just made a fresh batch of brandy slush for those that don't like rum.

My SS got their package today!!! Really hope they like black and white and red. I've had mine for weeks. Ready to open...it has been sitting by the shoe area since it got here. I see it daily and my three year old keeps trying to open it. Fun times.

I'll do that! He's had a very busy day. His mom got here bright & early & we went grocery shopping, got everything put up & did the finishing touches for the party. Party is now over & the kids have all gone home. I'm wiped out! Trying to keep up with a bunch of 10 year olds isn't easy! Gotta get dinner on shortly, then I get to relax!

Your hint fits ALL of us!

Got a notice for Jury Duty starting Dec 2...here's hoping for a short trial. I think they will reject me if I wander in reeking of rum and chocolate.
